Please remember this the next time you see a horse trailer on the road. 🐴❤️

That large gap in front of us isn’t there because we’re distracted or driving slowly — it’s there because living animals are travelling inside.

Horses can’t brace themselves the way humans do in a car. Every sudden brake, sharp turn, or aggressive lane change can throw them off balance and cause serious injuries.

In this photo, a newborn foal is resting beneath its mother during transport. The mare is standing carefully to protect her baby while the trailer moves around them. One sudden stop could turn a calm journey into a dangerous situation in seconds.

That’s why horse trailer drivers leave extra stopping distance, take corners slowly, and brake gently whenever possible.

We know most drivers don’t cut in intentionally to be rude — many simply don’t realise what’s inside these trailers or how fragile the situation can be.

So if you see a horse trailer on the road:
➡️ Give it space
➡️ Avoid cutting in front
➡️ Be patient at junctions and roundabouts
➡️ Remember there are animals relying on a smooth, steady ride

A little understanding goes a long way — and could help keep both horses and people safe. ❤️

School summer holidays are just around the corner actually only 5 weeks to go 😳.
We have a very short summer in the UK so get ready, plan your equine days out, choose from farm rides at Somerford Park Farm, Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre, The Gallops, Tilston, Craven Country Ride, Farnley Ride, to name a few.
Beach days at Ainsdale or Formby, take a packed lunch and make a day of it.
There are so many places to go and have an amazing time with your best friends, where you can make memories to last a lifetime 💖🐎💖
Don’t forget to book your transport early to avoid disappointment 🙈 xx
