The first photo was the day Danni came home in September 2024. The second photo is him today.

What a difference two years can make.

When Danni came into my life, I was at one of the lowest points I’d ever been through after losing my heart horse. I wasn’t looking for a replacement because there could never be one, but somehow this special boy found his way to me exactly when I needed him most.

The past two years haven’t been easy. We’ve had our ups, our downs, our challenges, and plenty of learning curves along the way. But through it all, Danni has been by my side, making every hard day that little bit easier.

Watching him grow into the horse he is today makes me so proud. Not just because of how far he’s come physically, but because of the bond we’ve built together. He’s been my comfort, my distraction, my motivation, and my reminder to keep moving forward.

Sometimes the horses we need find us when we least expect it.

Thank you, Danni, for helping heal a piece of my heart. Here’s to everything we’ve achieved so far and all the adventures still to come. 🤎✨

🌞✨ GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! ✨🌞

Firstly, a huge apology for being a little quiet on here lately! 🙈 We have been absolutely rushed off our feet over the holidays, especially with this incredible heatwave we’ve been having! 🥵☀️ But we have some EXCITING NEWS to share with you all… 🎉🐴

🚐🎊 TRANSPORT IS NOW AVAILABLE AGAIN! 🎊🚐

This means I am officially reopening my diary and now taking bookings for the summer period! 🌻🌞 Whether you’re planning a holiday, need some extra support with your horse, or are looking for reliable and experienced care, I’m here to help! 🫶🏽🐎

📖✨ My diary is now OPEN for the following services due to some changes in my summer clinic schedule:

🐴 Ridden Work
🌿 Day-to-Day Checks (ideal for horses living out all year round)
🐎 Breaking Livery
💙 Behaviour Support & Management
🌈 Retirement Livery
🏡 Full Livery

I am passionate about providing the highest level of care and ensuring every horse receives individual attention tailored to their needs. 🥰🐴

🏠 We also currently have stables available for DIY Livery! 🎉

Although we are a DIY livery yard, please remember that I offer a wide range of additional services to make horse ownership easier and more convenient for you. 🙌🏽✨

💰 A little bonus! If your horse is stabled on the same yard or within the local area, I can offer services at a reduced rate due to lower travel costs, so please keep this in mind when enquiring! 🫶🏽🙏🏽

📲 For prices, availability, or if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to send us a message via Facebook or WhatsApp. I’d be more than happy to chat and help find the best option for you and your horse. 🌸💬

We can’t wait to meet some lovely new faces and horses this summer! ☀️🐴💕 Thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming both new and existing clients very soon! 🥰🌻🫶🏽

🌱 “Grass Glands” in Horses – Should You Worry? 🐴

Noticed swellings under your horse’s jaw this spring? It could be “grass glands” - something we commonly see at this time of year.

What are they?
Enlarged lymph nodes under the jaw (submandibular lymph nodes).

They’re usually linked to:
• Increased exposure to pollen, dust, and new grass
• A mild immune response as horses spend more time grazing
• Spending long periods grazing with their head down, which can contribute to fluid build-up in this area

Why do horses get them?
As your horse’s immune system reacts to seasonal changes, these glands can temporarily swell - similar to how we might get swollen glands with a mild irritation.

Should you be worried?
In most cases - no.

Grass glands are typically:
✔️ Soft or slightly firm
✔️ Not painful
✔️ The same at both sides
✔️ Go down when the horse comes in
✔️ Your horse is otherwise bright and well

When to call your vet:
• Glands are very large, hard, or painful
• Your horse has a fever
• Nasal discharge or dullness
• Difficulty eating or swallowing

If in doubt, it’s always worth getting them checked.
Spring grass = happy horses… and sometimes slightly puffy glands! 🌼

ɢᴏᴏᴅ ᴇᴠᴇɴɪɴɢ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴏɴᴇ 🌙🌃✨

I apologise I’ve been a little quiet lately, but it’s been all go behind the scenes! 🐝
I’m back and ready to take on new bookings 🥰🌿

Some availability has opened up due to changes in clients’ plans over the summer.
Please note, all bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your space. This helps ensure fairness and commitment following previous late cancellations and unpaid bookings.

With summer coming up, now’s the perfect time to get organised ☀️🌼

Planning a getaway? 🏝️
You can relax knowing your horse is in safe, caring, and experienced hands 🐴💛
