Freddie loves the outdoors and water! (My dogs do too!) But sometimes that can be tricky managing the coat, especially a longer coat or any coat for that matter.

Why?

Moisture and friction contribute to matting, tangles and knots. Weather that be playing in the stream, sea or bathing at home.

When a coat becomes heavily matted, the safest and kindness option is to clip short under the matt. Dematting and trying to brush it out can be extremely uncomfortable and painful for dogs, so their welfare always comes first. 💙

By giving Freddie a fresh coat reset, we were able to safely remove the matting and leave him feeling comfortable, happy, and ready for a fresh start. 🐾
