The centre not only offers hydrotherapy, but also Acupuncture and Physiotherapy. Hydrotherapy has been proven to assist in the rehabilitation of dogs and cat

s and is also a safe, fun form of exercise which helps to improve your pets health, mobility and fitness. Some of the conditions that can benefit from hydrotherapy include:
Hip and Elbow dysplasia. Obesity
Soft Tissue injuries. Neurological conditions such as Degenerative Myelopathy. Swimming for fun and fitness. At 4 Paws Hydrotherapy centre, the welfare and safety of your dog or cat is our main priority, therefore a qualified hydrotherapist will be in the pool with them at all times. This will initially help them relax and it enables the hydrotherapist to monitor their range of motion and help them get the maximum benefit from each session whether it is for pre-operative, post-operative or for fitness.

🐾4 Paws are still looking for a Hydrotherapist to join our team! 🐾

An opportunity has arisen for a therapist to join our small, friendly, supportive team!

Do you currently work in the animal sector and want a change in career? Maybe you’re a vet nurse or veterinary physiotherapist who would like to expand your skills and train in hydrotherapy?

Our facilitates include a 6x4 meter Hydrotherapy Pool, an extended chamber HydroPhysio Aquatic Treadmill, Dog Showers and Dryer, Physio treatment room and a Class IV K-Laser.

The ideal candidate would already hold a minimum level 3 Canine Hydrotherapy qualification. However, a Veterinary Physiotherapist or Veterinary Nurse who plans to train in hydrotherapy in the near future would also be considered.

The role is a permanent full time role including some Saturdays.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hydrotherapist to join our professional, friendly and supportive team based in Ringwood, Hampshire.

Our facilitates include a Hydrotherapy Pool, HydroPhysio Aquatic Treadmill, Physio treatment room and K-Laser.

This role is for 25 hours per week including some Saturdays.

Pension contributions, professional membership (NARCH), First Aid Training costs and CPD allowance all covered by the company.

The ideal candidate will already hold either the Level 3 or 4 Hydrotherapy Qualification.

The role involves working closely in very dedicated team of Hydrotherapists and Veterinary Physiotherapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Experience and confidence in handling a variety of breeds, with a cheerful attitude, dedicated and honest, must be a good team player as well as being able to work independently.

Strong communication skills with a very high level of attention to detail and a ‘can-do’ attitude is essential.

Salary is based on experience.

Peggy has recently started her rehabilitation journey with us at 4 Paws following surgery to help stabilise a luxating patella.

She has made amazing progress already and is using the left hindlimb incredibly well. She also has a luxating patella in her right hindlimbs which has improved drastically since starting treatment.

Peggy has won the hearts of the team instantly, she has the puppy eyes mastered ensuring to receive maximum treats during her visits ❤️❤️

We wanted to share with you this lovely lady!

Hattie is a 14 years old German Shepherd who has been having Physiotherapy and Aquatic treadmill sessions with us for the past 18 months to help manage her arthritis.

The regular treatments have slowed down the deterioration in her condition and she is still able to enjoy daily walks with her owner.

Well done Hattie!

Koda has been swimming with since he was 6 months old to help manage his Elbow Dysplasia.

A combination of Hydrotherapy and regular stem cell treatment helps manage his condition meaning he can still lead a normal life and enjoy his walks on the forest.

We would like to congratulate Tori and James on the arrival of their beautiful son Jack. 🩵

Jack was born on 14th March weighing 8lb 8oz. He kept us all waiting, arriving 2 weeks and 3 days past his due date! We're pleased to hear that they're all doing well and are enjoying being at home settling into their new lives as a family.

Jack is yet to meet Ted & Alfie, but we'll share some photos when he does! 🐶🐶

Florin is a rescue dog all the way from Aruba! 🏝️

When her owner was there on holiday, she visited the local dog shelter to make a donation. Little did she know she was going to fall in love with Florin and bring her back to the UK where she lives a wonderful life with daily walks on the forest. 🌳

Along side being hydrotherapists, we are all also trained in pool water management 💦

We test our pool and aquatic treadmill water three times per day to check the levels are within the correct parameters for safe swimming.

We use Bronine for sanitisation as it is a lot kinder for our therapsits and patients skin. The safe levels for bromine are 2-6ppm and the Ph of the water should be 7.2-7.6.
