This little one is very happy to be out of crate rest and back into "gen pop".

Two weeks off after impaling herself.
Not back to normal just yet, still some healing to do so she's on light duties, much to her dismay.

A huge thank you to Dumbledore Vets who went above and beyond with bam this week.

She's a complicated little soul, who although has come on leaps and bounds still needs some managing especially when navigating things like a vet trip and post op pain.

Dealing with a dog that has a bite history can be a challenge in a situation like this as old behaviours can come to the forefront very quickly.

However their patience and compassion whilst allowing me to be more hands on than usual made a huge difference for bam.

She's home and resting now.

This lovely boy is now looking for his forever home.
He is nearly 2 years old.
Neutered.

🐾 Great with dogs and people

🐾 Very friendly, not reactive and rather quiet 🤫

🐾 Loves a fuss and attention

🐾 No separation anxiety, crate trained and travels well

He sounds perfect I know and he practically is, however 😣 Winston does have a bite history so he will need a special home. His life has not been plain sailing and he's had a rough ride. If you met him you'd never believe he'd be capable.
He is not aggressive in any way. He just unfortunately has previously been in fight or flight so needs a home that understands this and gives him time to trust them.
for this reason, he cannot be rehomed with young children, although he absolutely adores them.
He is absolutely adorable and I can't explain how lovely he is you just have to see it for yourself he has so much love to give.

There are so many dogs right now in such need of change.

We've taken in 2 rescues ourselves already with a bite history, just 5 months apart from each other.

I've also been working with multiple, bite history dogs either facing being rehomed or being put to sleep, with either human or dog aggression in the home. Dogs that have been through so many homes and Owners at their wits end. Most if not all are working breed dogs, spaniels, dachshunds, collies.

I can't tell you how much joy it brings and how emotional it can be helping these owners enjoy their dogs again.

More often than not the people I see have already seen other trainers and have been failed.

I love building back that bond and trust between dog and owners, something which is often lost when problems occur.

Not all cases are the same but with most, there is hope.

If you are struggling. There is hope, there are some very good trainers out there.

Gosh it is warm today.

Far too hot the last couple of days for their usual walk, even transporting them in the car is extremely warm.

Thank you all for being very accommodating and changing things around.

Back to some normality tomorrow
