We are a husband/wife team running a self funded non profitable guinea pig rescue in Hampshire. We have kept guinea pigs for many years when our daughter was growing up and when helping a friend find a hutch, couldn't help ourselves by getting 2 despite the fact she had left home. We started fostering for another amazing local rescue about in 2022. However we soon developed a reputation by word o

f mouth of being "piggy mad" and being asked to take in piggy's separate from the rescue we were fostering for, so decided that we would start our own rescue as sadly there is a huge call for them. We both work full time as well as caring for these amazing animals and self fund all their needs. We currently have a herd of 30 (ish) but also lots of other piggy's just waiting to come and live with you so please watch this page and help give these amazing little animals a home.

🐹 Auction Time Again! 🐹

Due to lots of new arrivals recently, funds at the rescue are running a little low. As many of you know, we hate asking for donations, so we thought we'd run another auction instead!

We've set starting bids on all items, as many have been kindly donated to help raise funds for the rescue – including the lovely Radley bag. 💕

Please bid generously if you can, as every penny raised goes directly towards the care of our piggies. However, please don't feel pressured into bidding – we never expect anyone to give money they can't afford.

🗓️ The auction starts now and will end on Friday 19th June at 6:00pm.

💷 Payment can be made by:• PayPal• Bank transfer• Cash on collection

📦 Items can be posted, but please note that £3.50 postage and packing will be added to the winning bid.

❤️🐾So just to let you all know I have finally escaped the hospital and am home safe and sound, very sore but home. I just wanted to say that whilst I was in hospital, I was kept up to date daily on all the love and concern towards me so I wanted to take this opportunity ( cant do much at the mo so a goid chance) to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you, I have been so touched by all the messages and comments, all of which now I can take time to read through properly whilst in the road to recovery. Wish Phil good luck, im an awful on the mend patient 🤣❤️🐾

So... CEO UPDATE:
Michele has had to undergo emergency surgery yesterday, having been taken unwell at the beginning of the week. She hopes to be home in next couple of days 🙏 But... it needs to be "home" for her to heal.
Going forward.... the surrenders already agreed, will be honoured-and we'll be in touch.
Once the quarantine period is over, and she is up to it, she will update the piggies available for adoptions. BUT we will NOT be taking anymore rescues or surrenders for the foreseeable. Her health MUST come first, and its taken its toll, mentally, physically and financially.
Thank you for all your love, support, kind wishes and importantly donations-which help the piggies in our care.

Sooo CEO update. Miss Honey has been knocked off her feet and is still very unwell. She knows there's a lot of you waiting to adopt, and as soon as she is back at the helm, will be in touch. Obviously the last rescues are still in quarantine, but they will be looking for their forever homes soon.
Thank you for all your kind offers of help, thank you for all your donations-of which, every penny goes towards the piggies upkeep. Phil is keeping the fires burning, but also has full time work, and Michele to visit. So PLEASE be patient, we will hope to resume the rescue ASAP 💕 Thank you as ever for your support xx

♥️🐾So the 10 "Saturday" rescue girls all out having some grass time, well whats left of it after the heat, but as you can see, they are all getting much more confident and enjoying their new found freedom. All health checked, all issues likely related too poor housing, diet and hygiene levels. They will be with us for a while as they will all be on pregnancy watch sadly. At least now they will learn to live how guinea pigs should ♥️🐾
