Thankyou so much to everyone who has been checking in and sending us messages recently 🤍 We just thought we'd pop on a little life update for all those who don't yet know..

Our gorgeous little twins Elizabeth & Adaline arrived a whole 2 months early on 30th January 2025 💕

After battling with Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome whilst in the womb then spending 5 and a half long weeks in the NICU, they finally came home on Sunday, double their weight, healthy and doing amazing!! 🥰

Now time to start the next chapter and best chapter of our lives 🩷🩷

Lottie's Lodge will remain temporarily closed whilst we learn to navigate a life with two dogs and TWO BABIES 😨😂 but we will continue to update our page when we know more about our future plans.

Also a huge thankyou to everyone who has sent us gorgeous gifts and messages for the girls, we appreciate your kindness sooo so much 🫶🐾

We miss seeing all your gorgeous pups and hope they're all loving their new groomers..
Can't wait to see everyone again soon 🤍🐾

🎁🎄🐾 Merry Christmas Everypawdy 🐾🎄🎁

We'd just like to say a HUUUGE thankyou to each and every one of our customers from the past (almost) 9 years.. those who have been with us since the first day, those who have come and gone, those who have come back, those who were strangers and turned into friends, those who have supported us with recommendations and telling all their friends, those who came by when we opened the new shop, those who only came for the one groom before we had to close.. each and every single person who has ever come through our doors are sooo so appreciated and you have all made Lottie's Lodge the dream business I always hoped to have! ❤️

While it's not good bye, it's a just see you soon, it still makes me sad to have to close fully while I go on my maternity leave, however you have all made it soo much easier for me to get through December and the past few months in general, those who have been able to swap appointments, change times, even allowed me to reluctantly cancel or have cancelled off your own back to help me too, I thankyou so very much! 🫶

To anyone who has given us Christmas and baby gifts, for all the tips, cards and well wishes, we thankyou sooo so much too!! Everyone has been incredibly kind! 💖💖

We will be keeping our Facebook and Instagram pages open and active and will update you as and when things happen.. but in the meantime, I'd like to wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas and an even HAPPIER New year and we wish you all lots of luck for the future and with your new groomers ❤️🐾

We are very sorry to bring this news to all our customers new and old but unfortunately there has been an unexpected and very disappointing change to our plans for my maternity leave next year and unfortunately we are no longer able to offer any appointments across 2025 and we are temporarily closing as of the 23rd December 😢💔

As previously mentioned in our last posts, all appointments booked in for the rest of this year may also have to be cancelled or swapped due to an increase in personal appointments that come last minute due to the high risk of my pregnancy and as I get closer and closer to my due date the high intensity of the job is also taking a huge toll on my body. Whilst I will try my absolute best to keep everyone booked in where I can, if any customers booked in for the rest of 2024 would rather not rely on the uncertainty of their appointments booked in at Lottie's Lodge and would like to book elsewhere we will happily pass on recommendations to other fabulous groomers across the area.. just get in touch! 🐾🤍

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every customer who has been so understanding and caring and helping me keep going over the past couple weeks.. and a huuuge thank you for each and every customer who has stepped through our doors and trusted us with your pups over the last 8 and a half years!

You will never understand how sad a post like this makes me! But I'm so incredibly grateful to you all for making Lottie's Lodge an extremely successful small business for all these years 🐾💕

THE WAITING LIST FOR ALL CURRENT CLIENTS WANTING TO BOOK FOR NEXT YEAR OPENS AT 11AM TOMORROW - Saturday 5th Oct

🚫 Please don't message before 11am or we won't be able to count these in..

The waiting list will be open for 48 hours and close on Monday.. 📖

Unfortunately due to high demand, we can't guarantee everyone who messages will get onto the waiting list due to only having the capacity to keep a very small amount of clients..

For those of you who do make the waiting list, you'll be contacted by Wednesday to confirm this.. should you not receive a message by this date, unfortunately you won't be on the waiting list and we are extremely sorry in advance, this is a very difficult and sad process for us and if we could keep you all, we would 😭 ❤️ We would be more than happy to provide guidance on how to find a fabulous groomer for all your 2025 grooms though instead, just contact us for help 🥰

💕🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🐾💕

Myself and my Husband John are sooo excited to announce we are expecting two new little family members.. due early 2025 🤍🤍

I have been trying to hide this as best I can whilst I made some plans and changes that will be coming soon to Lotties Lodge, but it's starting to become very difficult with a fast growing bump! 😅

As many of you are probably aware, babies and pregnancy are unpredictable and because we are expecting twins, I've also been placed in the "high risk" pregnancy category which means any appointments between now and December cannot be 100% guaranteed as I have ALOT of personal appointments coming up and also depending on how my body copes with the work load, I might have to start reducing my working hours and amount of dogs I can groom over the next month or so.. but we will try our ABSOLUTE BEST to give you enough notice and swap about to fit you back in somewhere else if we can..

In the meantime Elz our other wonderful groomer will be continuing to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and helping manage the workload also.

Regarding the salon and appointments for January onwards - Lottie's Lodge's salon on Rhuddlan Road will be CLOSING.
We will be moving back at our old salon on Pendyffryn Road and all appointments will be with Elz on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday while I am on maternity leave.

Given the sheer volume of customers I have acquired over the past few years, unfortunately all appointments across 2025 will be extreamly limited, so we will be only able to offer bookings on a first come first serve basis.

We will open up a waiting list for all those wanting to book their appointments for January onwards NEXT WEEK (current customers ONLY), so please keep an eye out so you don't miss out.

Unfortunately these are all decisions that have been extreamly difficult for me as I appreciate each and every one of our wonderful customers and wish it was possible to keep you all on our books, but sadly this isn't possible 😭 and we are extremely sorry!

However there are lots of amazing groomers in the area who have availability and are taking on new customers currently so we are hoping this gives everyone enough notice to research and find recommendations so they don't miss appointments for their pups for the future ☺️

In the meantime we will continue to serve all our customers as normal (hopefully), from our Rhuddlan Road salon up until we close for Christmas and I go off on maternity leave on the 23rd December 💕

Welcome to Lottie's Lodge, we are a pet service provider to the people and animals of North Wales and Chester. Our current services include one-to-one dog grooming, walking and pet visits.

We, at Lottie's Lodge are focused on providing pets of all shapes, sizes and personalities a safe environment where they can be pampered, play, relax and exercise using positive, force free techniques to encourage them to be more healthy, social and active animals. Chloe & Lottie understand humans can lead very busy lives but want the best care for their beloved pets and so Lottie's Lodge was created to encourage happy animals and happy humans!
