This beautiful little soul is only about a year old, and her story tugs at the heart. She was spotted trying to survive on scraps, eating out of bins for weeks—alone, scared, and overlooked. No one came forward, and she’s not chipped. The vet thinks she isn’t spayed, but she’s now treated for fleas and worms, and thankfully she’s otherwise healthy.

She’s such a gentle, hopeful girl just longing for safety and someone to love. HOME CHECKS WILL BE CONDUCTED to make sure she finally finds the secure, caring home she deserves.

If you can offer her a fresh start, or know someone who can, please message Dawn or Tania Murray. Thank you so much for reading, caring, and sharing her story. Let’s help this girl find her happiness at last.

Please, can you help us make a difference?

We’ve been urgently trying to raise funds—originally, our goal was £5,000 to secure a vital thermal drone upgrade. Thanks to an incredible act of kindness, our new target is just £3,000

A thermal drone will help us find injured and lost animals faster, no matter the hour. It means fewer animals left terrified and alone overnight. It means more lives saved, and more families made whole again. We also partner with mountain rescue teams, who don’t have drones and depend on North Wales Police for aerial searches.

If you can spare anything—no matter how small—please consider donating to help us reach our new, reduced goal of £3,000. Every gift helps us be there in the darkest hours. Even sharing this post makes a real difference.

Thank you for believing in us and helping us to save lives, rescue animals, and reunite lost families. ❤️

UPDATE, THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL HAS RETURNED HOME

🚨 Urgent call for help! 🚨

We’ve been asked to assist in the search for a missing family cat who’s been gone since Tuesday evening. She’s a beautiful, easily identified girl, but she’s hiding in a large, overgrown area—making it really tough to search on foot.

This is truly urgent as we want to reunite her with her family as soon as possible. If you have a thermal drone (not just any drone, but THERMAL only!) or know someone—maybe an uncle, auntie, brother, cousin, or even a business or hobbyist—please tag them here or get in touch. The more eyes we have, the better!

The pet’s family has offered to cover any expenses for anyone able to help, to make sure their cat is brought home safely.

For privacy, we won’t be sharing the location—only the drone handler and the owner will have those details. Please don’t tag or name the owner in the post, as we’re respecting their family’s and neighbours’ privacy.

Thank you so much for your support. Let’s spread the word—your community power is priceless when an animal needs help. If you can assist, please DM us!

🐾 Deceased Kitten Found – Help Us Find His Owner 🕊️
A 6–8 month old male kitten was sadly found deceased following a road traffic accident on Tuesday 26th August, near the Kinmel Bay roundabout on the Abergele Straights (A547).

He is now with Prospect House Vets in Colwyn Bay, where he is being cared for with dignity. 🩺 He is neutered and microchipped, but unfortunately, no owner details are linked to the chip.

💙 Dawn Smart is assisting Tanja from Vets Now to help locate his family. 📸 Photos are available—please message if you think this may be your beloved pet.

We know how heartbreaking it is not to know what happened. If you or someone you know is missing a young male cat in this area, please reach out.

🙏 Please share this post to help bring closure to his owner. Even in loss, kindness can make a difference.

What a beautiful story, just shows all it takes is time for them to heal ❤️

What a beautiful story, just shows all it takes is time for them to heal ❤️

When the rescue shelter called him “Bruce,” it was meant to be a joke — he was tough, scrappy, all muscle and mistrust. He’d been on the streets too long to trust soft voices or warm hands.
But deep down, Bruce wasn’t mean. He was hurt.
No one really noticed the change when Bruce started to soften. It was quiet at first — letting a volunteer pet him for more than two seconds, curling his tail instead of lashing it. Healing doesn’t happen all at once. It comes in moments.
And one day… it came in the form of a cry.
A box had been left at the shelter’s front door. Inside, a single kitten, barely old enough to walk. Orange, fluffy, with round blue eyes that seemed to say, “Please.”
The shelter had no nursing moms. They weren't sure the little one would make it.
Bruce heard the cry from the back. And something inside him stirred.
He got up. Walked straight past the volunteer trying to feed him. And planted himself in front of the kitten's crate, staring, ears forward.
The staff laughed at first. “Bruce? The Bruce? The cat who growled at his own tail?”
But Bruce didn’t growl.
He climbed in, curled around the kitten like it was the most natural thing in the world, and pulled it close with a paw bigger than the kitten’s entire body.
From that day on, they were a pair.
Bruce groomed the kitten. Guided her. Slept beside her every night like a soldier on duty. And whenever anyone got too close, his protective eyes would flick up and say, “Careful. She’s mine now.”
The kitten grew strong. She named herself Peach with a tiny meow and a habit of bouncing around like fruit in a basket.
But to Bruce, she was more than just a kitten.
She was the reason he healed.
She was the family he didn’t know he needed.
She was love — unexpected and unconditional.
When someone came to adopt them months later, the staff insisted, “Only together. Bruce won’t go without her.”
The new home was quiet. Peaceful. A blanket was laid down in the living room — the same one from the photo.
And there they stayed, Bruce’s strong paw over Peach’s tiny body, both looking into the camera like they already knew:
They had saved each other.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of our beautiful boy, Chubby. 💔🐾

Chubby came into our lives five years ago, rescued from an animal sanctuary after being found as a wandering Tom cat. While in their care, he was tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and the results came back positive. The sanctuary planned for him to join a colony of FIV-positive cats, but the moment we saw him, we knew he was special. We couldn’t bear the thought of him living out his days in isolation, so we took a chance and brought him home. He became our family, and we became his.

It wasn’t easy at first—Chubby was shy, unsure, and hesitant to trust. But slowly, he came out of his shell, and in time, he blossomed into the boss of the house. His personality was larger than life, his spirit unbreakable, and his love unconditional. He was our first rescue, and the bond we shared with him was something words will never truly capture. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Chubby had a cheeky side too. He loved nothing more than curling up on the dog’s bed, stealing her blankets and teddies, or even sitting in the bathroom sink or bathtub as if he owned the place. It was moments like these that made us smile and reminded us just how unique and special he was.

Chubby had been declining since Christmas, but we made sure every moment was filled with love, comfort, and care. He stayed active, surrounded by his friends, and continued to bring light to our lives even in his final days. This morning, wrapped in his favorite blanket and with us by his side, Chubby peacefully fell asleep for the last time. 🌈 Our hearts are shattered, but we find comfort knowing he was warm, loved, and never alone. Good night, sleep well, my beautiful Chubba Wubba. We will love you forever. 💕

If you are ever considering adding a feline friend to your family, please know there are so many cats in rescues crying out for a loving home. Adopting Chubby was the best decision we ever made. We truly believe his life was extended, and his days were filled with joy because he had the love and safety of a family. Instead of buying kittens from social media posts, we urge you to support sanctuaries and rescues and adopt wherever possible. 🐾

Chubby, you were so much more than a pet—you were family. Our hearts ache, and our home feels empty without you, but we are endlessly grateful for the time we had. You’ll always be in our hearts. Thank you to everyone who has shown us kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time. Hug your loved ones (furry or not) a little tighter today. 🐱 🐈‍⬛ ❤️
