Will be spayed after 1st season

Seen by appointment after you have read the fostering T&C above. (If I was young I would have been fostering her myself ) we are expecting a lot of inquiries so don’t be disappointed if your not a front runner as we home to the most suitable age & lifestyle appropriate

The Rescue Kennels will be OPEN for prospective Lifetime foster owners to view a dog BY APPOINTMENT phone 07721627486 leave a message 24hr answer phone for a return call

1. The process is an application form that will need to be completed by phone
2. The particular dog you are interested in will then be brought out to be viewed at your appointment
2A. Any dog that is required to go as a second dog should accompany its owner but must have an up-to-date vaccination card to be shown at the time. (We don't place dogs in to become 3rd plus pets in a home)
3. Dogs can be placed on a temp reserve in the order they have been seen, but another reserve will still be taken as a backup.
4. A home check will be carried out within a couple of days before a decision is taken.
5. We will try to arrange for the dogs already in temp foster to be at the kennels to be viewed so do make an appointment.
6. Once all checks are completed a £75-100 donation to the foster scheme is required on collection of your pet
**7. Dogs will be placed to suit the age and ability of both the dog & foster applicant

This, as a rescue is a challenge we face, alongside our dogs daily.
People often expect instant bonds, connections and for dogs to instantly trust them, know they are safe with them and what your expectations of them are.
We wouldn’t expect this from another human so why do we expect this from another species?
Lower expectations, open your heart and mind and relax into a relationship. Dont force it.
Some of the closest bonds with dogs we have are from those who take time to form.

3 June 26. Not closing just taking a breath!!
We can no longer afford to take in any rescues at this time with the cost of living and other demands on households there are no donation income, with the small kind amounts paid in from our supports monthly, helping to maintain the long stay residents in the kennels. Once we have got clear of our outstanding bill's we will revaluate our position.
The staff who are all self employed understand we are not able to find wages out of thin air & have helped by doing odd days as volunteer.
Yes our long term resident still need walking and caring for so volunteers are still needed and welcome to help care for our dogs, aviary birds and tortoises and cats.
After 25 years this is a difficult decision but we will be caring on in one capacity or another. Meanwhile the fundraisng campsite that has kept us going for the past couple of years will hopefully help clear our outstanding bills (fingers crossed)
Our vet service is still operating as normal Tuesday and Thursday by appointment by appointment for clinical and surgical appointments. 01745-571061

I bark when I can’t join in with the family and I can’t understand why that’s a problem?? I just want to be by your side 🐾🐾
