Policy
Bankhouse boarders is based in Little Reedness East Yorkshire We are licensed by East Yorkshire Council. Fully insured by Pet Plan Sanctuary. We are licensed for Up to 4 dogs at a time this will be subject to a meet and greet session and introduction to any boarded dogs.
Friendly socialised dogs very welcome. All dogs must be microchipped, ︎wormed, flea treated, fully vaccinated, House-trained dog's is also a must, with the exception of puppies.
-Registration must be filled in and completed before any boarding commences. All dogs’ records will be kept up-to-date and filed.A daily record will be in place for your dog with up-to-date feeding, exercising, or any behaviour changes any ailments will be logged.
Dogs will be provided with a clean bed, bowls & blankets throughout their stay Aswell as access to toys and chews with your permission. If your dog becomes ill within our care, we have quarantine in place, and you will be notified immediately along with our nearest vet. We are registered with Rase vets in Goole and our insurance will cover any dog in our care that becomes ill if the illness/injury has been caused by ourselves.
Existing conditions will not be covered through our policy. We will feed all dogs separately and to their specific dietary needs. Please provide your dog's own food, bed Treats can be given with your permission. Cleaning regimes will meet strict guidelines and high standards with safe systems of cleanliness. All products used are pet safe and pet friendly.
If your pet becomes dirty whilst they are out having fun, they will be cleaned accordingly using pet friendly products and groomed. Should your dog escape local wardens, Facebook groups drone searches and local police will be notified. Your dog will be fitted with a boarding tag with our details Should a dog escape from our care. If transportation is needed, dogs will be safely transported using a dog seat belt. Dogs under our care will be ︎full day board 2 x 30-minute walks half day boards 1 x 30-minute walks Along with agility fun and lots of human interaction whilst their stay..
Walks maybe longer if we further explore. If your dog is unable to be walked for medical reasons or age, we have a large secure garden Aswell as a smaller side garden. All animal waste will be removed immediately and disposed of straight away. Should your dog be on any medication could you please provide us with this on their stay and all information enclosed. Fire risk at home has been completed. Evacuation route and assembly point has been agreed. Your dog whilst under our care will have the luxury of a home from home. Toys will be provided but please feel free to bring along any of your dog's favourites. An agility course will be set up to give your dog extra exercise and enrichment.
Bi***es in season (or due to start in the boarding period) cannot be accepted, this is to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Intact males can be accepted but on an individual basis. This is to minimise the potential of dominance, aggression and territorial marking.
