My horse Maisie isn’t a fan of getting wet but on this occasion she decided it was a good idea! This was on Tuesday evening after temperatures had reached over 30 degrees in Cornwall.

My horses have access to a salt lick out in the field. Maisie will not take to it at all but Willow loves it! I’ve tried adding salt to Maisie’s feed but even the tiniest pinch and she knows about it. I’ve tried hiding it by adding things like dried mint but she says No! Maybe Maisie is salty enough! 😂

Happy New Year! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic festive period.
It’s been a quiet one for us. It’s been lovely to have some down time to enjoy spending time with my family.
I’ve also had a lovely time with Maisie doing lots of in hand work as well as some lovely hacks.
I’ve been eased back into work gently with some smaller group walks with my lovely doggy customers! 🐶
The weather has been great if a little fresh!
