I met this amazing litter of KC registered Staffordshire Bull Terriers this morning for their microchips. Beautiful chunky pups. Anyone who knows me will be aware of my love for this breed having had Leni and Taz when I was younger 🐕🐕

Did you know….

🐶 the Staffordshire Bull terrier are very affectionate people loving dogs, also known as the ‘nanny dog’ for their gentle patient nature with children

🐶the Staffy originated in the midlands and came from the Old English bulldog and Old English terrier

🐶The UK Kennel club recognised this breed back in 1935, however the American Kennel Club did not recognise this breed until 1974!

🐶whilst originally bread for fighting, once this became banned in 1911, the staffy became best known as a company in dog. Making a great pet for active families

Busiest of mornings today. I met this absolute stunner. Let me introduce you to Caesar. A British shorthair cross. A very confident, playful and mischievous little boy. Caesar will be a house cat however to still be legal he needed to have his microchip fitted. 🐾🐾

I popped over the Russet Greyhound Sanctuary today to microchip these gorgeous dogs. A lovely saluki X and whippet X. Sandra at Russet will continue to bring these dogs back to health and find them the loving decent homes they both deserve! Did you know….

🐶 standard poodles originally from Germany, their name means ‘to splash’ as they were bread as water retrievers

🐶highly intelligent dogs, and non shedding coat, this breed require a lot of exercise so suit active homes

🐶Their flamboyant haircuts were originally practical with the aim of clipping off all unwanted coat that would get waterlogged, but still keeping hair where needed to protect joints and keep internal organs warm.

This morning I went to Hayle to meet this brother and sister for their microchips. Adopted by their new mum, this lovely pair of moggys were barely touched or loved previously, making today’s microchip fitting challenging.

With perseverance we managed to microchip both, meaning they can now explore outside and their mum can be safe in the knowledge than if they were to wonder off, a quick scan of their microchip will soon have them reunited….

The microchipping of cats before the age of 20 weeks has now been in place for nearly 2 years. If you have a cat or kitten you would like microchipped please get in touch via DM/whatsapp🐾🐾
