As you may have heard in the news today, the CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) have published its provisional decision report on the veterinary services for household petโs sector and we wanted to share with you, what this means for us.
Here at Medivet Redruth, Camborne and St Ives, weโre proud of the unique way we operate; we are a locally owned partnership model with Abi and Eleanor recently becoming our partners across the three Cornish practices, this sets us apart from other larger veterinary groups with many of our decisions being made at the local level. Both Abi and Eleanor are from Cornish families, grew up in the local area and have chosen to stay within this glorious county to work and raise their own young families.
We are extremely proud, that the vast majority of our staff have been with us for many years (some over 20 years) and many of whom have grown up in the local community, you may well recognise their faces in this picture!
One of the CMAโs areas of focus, has been that of pricing transparency; we were one of the first practices in the area to publish our pricing list in clinic and have clear price lists available online, allowing you to make informed decisions, with our pricing always being competitive within local markets.
Our priority has and always will be, providing you and your pet the best possible care, treating your animal as if it were one of our own.
