Karla (the unfortunate burmese python that was abandoned) has started to shed her skin for the first time with us, and I'm am pleased to say that all of the scales afflicted with necrotic dermatitis along with what is left of her retained shed is coming off, she looks like a completely different snake :)

The New burmese python is now called Karla,, stunning name for a stunning snake that has fought for a decent standard of life

3 poor snakes were found dumped in chacewater earlier this week, 2 of the snakes (a royal python and boa) were deceased in the vivariums that were also dumped and one 8ft albino Burmese Python was found trying to sun itself on a piece of rubble, the R.S.P.C.A contacted us and the snake arrived with us that afternoon, she has retained a shed and has necrotic dermatitis which she is now being treated for, after 5 days of treatment she is looking better already and has taken a feed today which is great news, she is emaciated and in a bad way but is well on her way to recovery pics will be posted
