Thankyou all for coming to our Valentine's auction at the Miners' Arms on Friday!
We raised £231 for Lonely Pawz...much needed funds!
Dave the Auctioneer was great fun as usual and the staff and Kevin the Landlord made the evening so lovely to hold there.
Thanks to everyone who donated lots for us to sell and to our wonderful volunteers Kay,Ken and Dee, without whom we couldn't have held the event!Round of applause from me and the little animals!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting ready for the Auction on6th February! We have had a brilliant response to our appeal for items to auction...Thankyou one and all!
One thing I forgat to mention...is there anyone out there who is willing to bake us a cake?
Last time I tried it blew the door off my oven!

We are holding our first fundraising event
of 2026 on the 6th February in the Miners' Arms in Plain an Gwarry.This is our Annual Valentine's auction....more details to follow later.
In the meantime ,this is an appeal for any items we can Auction!
Do you have anything left over from Christmas which you could donate??We also need Hampers or baskets for our Auction lots and wrapping paper,sellotape,gift bags,gift tags ...

In 2025 Lonely Pawz rescued,restored,rehomed an gave respite to 23 cats,14 kittens,6 birds 3 rabbits and 3 guinea pigs.
We could not do this without the help of you wonderful people out there ...thank you for helping,coming to our fundraisi ng events and donating items for the animals and for our tombolas,auctions and rafflesThe little animals thank you from the bottom of their little hearts.
