Soaring temperatures this weekend means that heat stress is a real risk for dogs.

Schedule walks for early morning or late evening

Make sure your dogs have plenty of fresh water available

Don’t leave dogs in cars

Provide cool mats or paddling pools to help your dogs cool down

Practice Closure - Wednesday 20th May from 12:00pm

It is with great sadness that we let our clients know that our practice will be closed from 12:00pm on Wednesday 20th May so that our team can attend the funeral of our much-loved colleague, Cress.

It is with the greatest sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Cress, who lost her long battle with cancer on Saturday. Her bravery and positive outlook on life was a constant inspiration to all of us. We will miss her smiley face, lovely laugh and endless energy. Our thoughts are with all her friends and family who surrounded her with love, and we hope that the memories of the special person that she was, will bring some relief to the pain of missing her.

We have just had this neutered male cat brought into the surgery. He has been involved in a road traffic accident. He has not got a microchip so we are unable to trace his owners. We suspect he is between 5 and 10 years old. If you recognise him please contact us urgently.

Sadly we have had an entire male adult cat brought into us today, a victim of a fatal road traffic accident. He is completely black with no other markings and no identichip. If you think he is yours, please contact the surgery on 01527 550111.
