Letโs talk Shire Wood ๐ชต!
We buy our wood cord by the tonne from reputable arborists. Our wood comes from UK and we even know the area of where the wood has been felled.
All our wood is processed in our factory by our machines by ourselves and dried in kilns onsite.
We use a biomass boiler to dry the wood. The boiler is also connected to the factory to heat the factory too, to be more energy sufficient. This was done the day it was installed.
The whole drying process of our logs are recorded on spreadsheets regularly as we check the logs for correct moisture readings and quality of logs including size. We can trace what cages have been sold to each customer.
If you want a specific size of log we can help, some of our customers have different size burners. We aim our logs to fit all.
We sell trade.
All pizza logs are produced in the factory the same way.
All our logs are hard wood preferably Ash, Beech,Birch and Oak
We are a small family business in fact we are husband and wife... and yes Laura can work the machines too ๐ช๐
