After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Four Paws on Deck, with our final day being 4th April 2026.
I just want to say thank you.
To every single person who trusted me with their pets - your dogs, cats, and all the little personalities in between - it has meant more than you probably realise. Being welcomed into your homes, getting to know your routines, and building bonds with your furry family members has been something I’ll always be grateful for.
This started as a dream of mine. Something I genuinely cared about. And for a long time, it was everything I hoped it would be.
But times are tough. With some personal circumstances and the wider challenges facing small businesses right now, it’s no longer something I can continue in a way that’s sustainable.
That doesn’t take away from what this has been.
It’s been early mornings, muddy walks, wagging tails, quiet house sits, and those small moments where a nervous pet slowly learns to trust you. It’s been conversations on doorsteps, messages checking in, and feeling like part of something bigger than just a service.
I’ve met some incredible people. And some even more incredible animals.
Thank you for your support over the last few years. For choosing Four Paws on Deck. For trusting me.
It’s meant everything.
