Dear DASH DOGS Clients:
Re COVID-19 outbreak with immediate effect, Tue 24th MAR 2020.
It is with deep regret that, after further consideration, I feel I can no longer safely continue group walking dogs at the moment for one main reason.
Although this risk is incredibly low, there is a chance that the virus could be spread via dog’s fur; i.e. contagious owners/members of the public coming into contact with the dogs.
As I walk and transport groups of dogs there exists the possibility of transmission of the virus between dogs’ fur on walks and in the van. This could be by direct contact between the dogs or from the surfaces in the van between morning and afternoon walks.
As a result, I have chosen one dog alone that I can safely transport and walk and only because his owner is a frontline member of the medical profession who may need my help.
I think you are all aware how fond of your dogs I am; Words can’t express how much I’ll miss walking them and hope that situation will end soon so I can get back to doing what I love.
Please feel free to contact me about all things woofly or just want to chat.
All my very best,
Dave, DASH DOGS
