A day I have been silently dreading for a while, but I know the time is right.
Today, Dre & I walked our final Happy Dogs walks. After much soul searching and changing of minds backwards & forwards, today we retired from dog walking. 🥹
After a long, mostly cold and wet, 8 years, we have walked our last walks.
The day started with a flat tyre 🙈
Then the sun came out, and we had a beautiful, albeit emotional day.
I can not express how grateful I am to all my clients and crew, both past and present, for giving me the pleasure and honour to spend time doing what I love. And entrusting me with all your beautiful, funny, loving ( and sometimes stinky & dirty) lovable rogues.
Your cards, gifts & beautiful kind words have just blown my mind. 🥺
It's now time for a new challenge for me, and for Dre to take it easy & enjoy his senior years.
