As we remember the heroes who served, we also honour the brave dogs who stood beside them. 💜

Did you know that in World War I it’s estimated that 1 million dogs and 8 million horses died, alongside 100, 000 pigeons?

From messenger dogs and sentries to search and therapy companions… these loyal friends carried messages, found the wounded and comforted soldiers.

Today and every day, we remember them.
