We're on the lookout for a person who puts the customer first, friendly, chatty and with an equine background. Helping to assistant customer in store and on phone.

✔️8.30 to 5 Tuesday to Friday and 9 to 5 on Saturday

With lots of new customers here is a quick guide to which forage is which.

⭐️ 4 string premium meadow. An early cut meadow hay is the greenest and softest option sugar between 8-9% £59.50
⭐️4 string meadow hay. A mid season cut. not quite as green but a nice clean. Sugar between 6-8% £49.50
⭐️4 string pony hay. A late cut hay or a hay from older leys, bales will be a light brown. Can contain a few docks, might of been weathered before being brought in, as grass is cut later will contain some low levels of dust. Sugar around 5% £40.00
⭐️Round pony hay as above but in a round bale form. Great for feeding in the field £40
⭐️4 string Rye/Timothy mix. A coarser longer blade hay. Browner in colour due to grass type. Sugar 8 to 10%. Great for extra protein £49.50.

⭐️Rye haylage. First cut rye sugar around 8%. High in protein and oils. Great for condition £49.50
⭐️High fibre haylage. A 2nd or 3rd cut rye haylage as such lower in sugar and nutrients. Sugar around 6%. £49.50
⭐️Meadow haylage. Cut from meadow leys, soft but a slightly drier haylage sugar around 6%. £49.50

We are a family run business based near Reading in Berkshire providing a comprehensive service to supply all your equestrian needs. We stock a wide range of horse feeds and bedding from all the major brands, and also stock feed for poultry and waterfowl, sheep and pigs, goats, alpacas and a variety of other pets and animals ranging from ferrets to wallabies and reindeer!

Our shop stocks everything you could need for yourself and your horse, from a wide variety of yard equipment, saddlery and rugs to treats, supplements and grooming equipment.

We are a small, friendly team aiming to provide a fast and efficient service. Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience, from our delivery drivers to our shop staff who are all horse owners themselves and have all worked with horses in a professional capacity.

We have over 10 years experience producing our own excellent quality hay and haylage here on the farm to supply to our customers, and offer a free delivery service of orders of hay and feed over £50 within a 25 mile radius of our shop.
