💔🐾 PLEASE HELP CHARLIE – OUR LOVELY OLD BOY NEEDS YOU! ❤️

At around 16 years old, Charlie has lost his beloved owner and is now facing health issues.

After spending the summer in a neighbour’s garden, Charlie came back into TVAW’s care. We soon discovered he was very poorly, and he’s needed multiple vet visits, tests, medication and treatment for a painful mouth infection.

But the cost of his veterinary care has reached approximately £2,500 – a huge bill for our small charity.

After everything he’s been through, we want Charlie to enjoy his senior years feeling comfortable, safe and loved. He deserves that chance, but we need your help to cover his vet bills.

🚨 PUBLIC WARNING TO ALL CAT OWNERS.

This weekend, the clocks go back an hour.

For humans, that means an extra hour in bed.

For Britain’s cats, it means 12 million furry little psychopaths are preparing to declare war on their households.

Because nobody has told the cats.

On Sunday at 5am, thousands of people will be standing in their kitchens, wearing dressing gowns, trying to explain Greenwich Mean Time to an animal that spent today licking its own bum.

There will be screaming. Furniture will be destroyed. Toes will be attacked.

At least one pensioner in Kennington will be held hostage by a ginger cat called Peter.

How does your cat inform you that you are late for breakfast?

Nova and Wednesday are 3½-month-old kittens with two very different personalities, a love of play and a whole lot of kitten mischief! They are looking for a loving home together, where they can play, explore and continue growing into the wonderful little cats they're becoming.

One is an affectionate little attention-seeker, while the other is a more independent soul who likes to take her time getting to know you. Together, they make a gorgeous pair!

🩷 NOVA — THE LITTLE LOVE BUG

She's a confident, curious and playful little character who loves being involved in whatever you're doing. She's full of energy, enjoys playing with her toys and has a particular talent for knowing exactly when the treat cupboard might be opening! 😂

Once you're sitting down, Nova's affectionate side really shines. She'll happily climb onto your lap for fuss and cuddles, and she's even been known to climb up your leg to remind you that she's waiting for attention!

🌸 WEDNESDAY — THE PLAYFUL LITTLE INTROVERT
Wednesday is a sweet, curious girl with a playful side and a personality all of her own.

She loves toys, chasing her sister around and enjoying tasty treats. She's also fascinated by the world outside and enjoys sitting by the window watching everything going on.

Wednesday is more cautious about physical contact than Nova. She isn't yet comfortable with being stroked freely, but she's making progress and is learning that people can be trusted.

She'll need an adopter who understands that trust can't be rushed. Someone who will sit quietly with her, talk gently, play with her and allow her to approach in her own time will give her the best chance to flourish.

A favourite treat can help make human interaction a positive experience, and with patience and kindness, Wednesday has the opportunity to keep building her confidence.

She might not be the kitten who jumps straight onto your lap on the first day, but watching her confidence grow and seeing her begin to trust you could be an incredibly rewarding experience.
