This is Domino. He was rescued from a kill shelter in Los Angeles. He had just one hour left when the charity got to him. I flew him back to the UK, and from the moment I gave him that first bowl of food, something changed for both of us. He was skin and bone, terrified… but that moment told him: you’re safe now. A perfect storm of post-lockdown overbreeding, rising living costs, and plummeting adoption rates has left rescue centres at capacity and struggling to cope with the number of dogs needing their help. It’s created a heart-breaking situation with many dogs not getting the second chance at life they deserve. That’s why we started Miraculous Meals. This is something I’ve been quietly working on for a while…I’ve officially become a founder of the dog food brand Miraculous Meals! It’s not just about healthy, wholesome food (though it is that too). We’re doing this because the UK is facing a dog rescue crisis that’s growing fast and getting harder to ignore. Rescue centres are full. Adoption rates are down. With no official records kept many fear a hidden crisis with huge numbers of healthy, adoptable dogs quietly being put down in council pounds each year. So, with Miraculous Meals, we’re doing something simple but hopefully powerful: we donate 50% of all profits to rescue centres like Birmingham Dogs Home, Hope Rescue and others doing vital work. Over the Christmas period deliveries take longer due to holiday days and the large volume of parcels.

We would hate for you to run short of food so here are all the important things you need to know:

- Order by 6pm on Thursday December 19th for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.

- Orders placed over the festive period may take up to 3 working days to arrive.

- Subscribers can change their delivery date in the account section of our website or contact us.

Remember, if you're not going to be in, with DPD you can have your parcel left with a neighbour or in a safe place.

We paid a visit to present them with their £500 donation on behalf of all our amazing customers 🙏🏆

We’re so proud to be able to help support the amazing work that Senior Staffy Club do. Many of the senior dogs they rescue come from the dog pound where they are at high risk of being put to sleep or are found abandoned - often because as they get older and require costly vet treatment, they’re turned out to fend for themselves.

Like the gorgeous Frankie who joined us for the photo. He was found wandering the streets abandoned a couple of weeks ago. He was scared and underweight. Thanks to the love and care of Kate and the team he’s put on 3kg and his confidence has come back. He’s the most adorable boy 🙌
