I am so proud of this group, for some they only had 4 weeks to learn Rally from start to finish and compete- just wow! And ALL of the team achieved EXCELLENT scores! Absolutely amazing guys, so chuffed for you all ❤️

Maybe we will give it another go 🤔

Best of luck to our Online Rally Team - you all smashed it! We will await results 🤞

We have our KCGC Silver coming up and then another Rally course with which will conclude with a match/competition where a Rally judge will come along!

Crufts is also looming as well, so lots to prepare for

Slightly late in posting but we had a fantastic Saturday last weekend where we met Merry the Cocker (very appropriate name) for a ringcraft session and then met with the wonderful Bardsey and Kip the Kooikerhondjes for their formal practice run for their debut into their Level 1 Rally Competition!

The Rally group are partaking in their Level 1 and Level 2 courses tomorrow to enter in their first online rally competition!

We offer 1-2-1's in ringcraft, rally, general training and more - so feel free to get in touch!

Cognit Canines is starting the next Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver award starting on Friday 20th March at Burghfield Village Hall at 6pm!

All dog attending must have achieved their bronze with Cognit Canines or another training club. We have 6 spaces available! Test date is Friday 15th May!

The Rally groups started yesterday!

6 new recruits joined us, who were absolutely amazing and can see some titles and wins coming!

It was great to see our advanced group coming back with as much enthusiasm as ever, we focused on the spiral exercises and going back to basics with technique!

We are expanding our Rally Team!

What is Rally?

Rally is a fantastic sport where you and your dog navigate a course that is made up of signs that consist of obedience cues. Simple as that!

Our current team below started their journey in 2025, where three have taken the steps into the competition ring and gained Qualifying scores and Excellent scores.

We are now also training towards online rally titles, which is perfect if you don't feel like travelling miles or not quite confident stepping into the big ring.

We are kicking off our first online rally short course (4 weeks) end of January. If you would like to join our wonderful group, please pop me a message. All welcome, however, to join, your dog must have some basic obedience. If your not sure, just message!

Once part of the group, you will be given handbooks and guidance on how to enter competitions if you wish as well as lots of support and laughs!

We also hold mini competitions, where have judges attend an evening.

A huge shout out to one of our Rally team members! Victoria and Tucker attended their first Rally Competition yesterday at Stoneleigh and absolutely smashed it! Victoria and Tucker started their Rally journey this year, not knowing what Rally is! After the learning the dos and don't's, focusing on technique, and 2 mini competitions later they have entered their first competition where they achieved:

Level 1 196 Excellent Qualifying Score
Level 2 184 Qualifying score

So proud of these two, but I never doubted you!

Crufts appreciation post! The ringcraft group did fabulous and we had a fair day full of 4ths (suppose we can't win it all 😅)

Anyhow, we got some fancy photos! We had a fabulous time handling Gryth and Jelly to their placings! It's also a good lesson in not wearing black trousers with a black dog for photosake!

We have had a wonderful few weeks completing the ringcraft sessions in preparation for Crufts 2025 - everyone did amazing! Crufts 2025 starts this Thursday, we want to wish a special good luck to Tucker, Philly, Yasna, Sasha, and Elvis - you guys are absolutely wonderful people and owners and I wish you all the best- I think you will be amazing (I have a BIS ticket ready for your big moment 😝)

Massive congratulations to the almighty Tucker the Bermese Mountain Dog who passed their KCGC Silver tonight!! Thank you to Ava Holloway our Examiner who kindly stepped in to help 🙏

A massive thank you to Dylan and Rosie who were our stooge dogs - could not have done it without you!

As it was a extra special evening, we brought our Fern out for the evening who hasn't done anything in years but did really well acting as an additional stooge dog!
