We have all noticed prices are increasing, and here at the cattery things are no different. All our direct costs - energy, food, litter, waste disposal, accounting, licensing, etc, cost more every year.

More importantly, DEFRA has taken over the licensing of boarding establishments. This has put an ever-increasing demand on our cattery in both vast amounts of extra paperwork, and the requirement of continued (expensive) improvements to comply with their new guidelines. These new regulations have been especially difficult on us the last few years, as we were hit extremely hard by the COVID restrictions (and provided very little support from the government).

While we have tried to keep our prices to a minimum, we've unfortunately reached the stage where we need to raise our prices.

As of this post our daily rates will be:

1 cat: £10 per day
2 cats: £15 per day
3 cats: £20 per day

Any bookings placed prior to this post will be charged at the rates quoted previously.
