Good afternoon everyone! I hope this finally posts. And my messages start sending
Please check your inboxes as I have been messaging people who are interested in classes but Facebook has been acting up for me.
Got some good news we are expecting out 3rd little one. Bad news is I still haven't found out the cause of my seizures or blackouts. We are going back home to visit some family next week. And won't return till late November. I will be continuing with those who have asked for classes and sessions. But after those few I will not be taking on any more clients till I can figure out what is going on with my health. I appreciate your patience and understanding and I hope I hear from you those who I have tried to message.

Skye is a board and train I have been working with almost 2 weeks now. Skye has some excitable reactivity issues and due to her young age she has a short attention span. We have been working on loose leash healing, with and without distractions. And working on keeping attention in both settings as well. She has been doing brilliantly with her training but is alittle behind where I expected her to be because we have had to slow things down and make she she is understanding what we want from her.

My dog Gabby back in the states has passed on. At almost 11!( old for a giant schnauzer) 11 years this girl has been in my life taking me to shows and embarrassing me as she ran circles around me on a recall. Letting me make mistakes and forgiving me for those mistakes. Making me laugh and helping me cry. She was such a good girl and will be very missed. You'll always have a place in my heart. I wish I could have told you bye in person. I love you my girl.

Kane is doing brilliant with his training and I am getting better ish with the Hawaiian commands. So proud of this boy. Again thank you Jacey and kai for letting me work with him

So a super cool experience for me as I got a new board and train in and the owners would like his training commands to be in Hawaiian. So thanks to a friend of mine previously stationed in Hawaii. She got all the commands I normally teach translated for me by her friend on island. And thanks to Google translate ( i probably could have used this whole time) we are rocking and rolling with Kane's training thank you Jacey and Kai for letting me work with your smart boy.

Found this and thought i would share :)

This is something everyone should see.

When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

A bit of back-story: This is a baby puppy who had a knock to his elbow and wasn't using it properly, so he was taken to the vet. There is nothing wrong in these x-rays, thankfully it is a soft tissue injury and he is expected to be fine.
