Exciting News for our little centre!!!!
We are now a an accredited ABRS centre 🤩🥳
This opens up lots of exciting opportunities for our Clients.
We have also maintained our 5* licence.
We work incredibly hard to keep our riding school up to standard and the welfare of our horses is extremely important to us.
As we head into our 10th year we have lots of exciting things planned.

Position available- Ride groom or yard Groom.
Hours- Mon-Fri Mornings
Job role - We are looking for someone who is hard working and passionate about horses. Must have experience as will be dealing with youngsters and competition horses. All yard jobs including mucking out, rug changes, turning out bringing in and keeping the yard clean and tidy.
Chance to ride for the right candidate. We are a small friendly yard. Good to work for. Good rates of pay. Immediate start.

A George appreciation Post.
Just look at those toes flick at 18 years of age he goes from riding school pony to show pony.
He does all levels of lessons from our complete beginners to our advanced riders. He truly is 1 in a million.
Not many riding school ponies has a C.V like george.
Ride and drive, Riding school pony, dressage superstar, show pony, a cheeky cob, a therapy pony. We are very lucky to have him as part of our team. As we look at celebrating our 10 year anniversary next year george has been here from the beginning.

A very delayed post!!!!
Another super outing for our team at Rochdale & District Riding Club Dressage Extravaganza.
George and emily won her intro and went overall intro champion, receiving a 10 in her test!!!!!
Charlotte and chey came 6th in strong prelim class.
Adrian and angel came 6th in the intro.
Me and daff came 3rd and 4th in the novice and Elementary.
With an over all team 2nd out of 12 teams.
Our little riding school ponies, doing us proud again. All trained by Marnie Holt-Boyden
Fab prizes and a wonderfull day.
Now onto north west champs with our super george.

!4.2 Striking dark grey Connemara 6 years old
This mare has exceptional conformation, a leg at each corner. She has that “Wow Factor”
She has been slowly and professionally produced. She has 3 balanced paces, starting lateral work, including changes. She is exceptionally well schooled. She is bold and brave X-country. She has Jumped round s/j and been placed in W/H classes. She is the Ultimate all-rounder. She is Forward going but yet safe.
I really can’t say enough about this mare, she is definitely a yard favourite. Not at all mareish.
She has been placed every time out now competing prelim scoring 70’s%.
She is a pleasure to take out.
Hacks out, not fazed by traffic.
She is a pleasure to have on the yard.
Will only be sold to the very best of homes.
No novices, a loving competition home sought for this special little mare.
Good to shoe, box, catch.

We often tell people we are different to most riding schools!!! We coach differently and our ponies are schooled by ourselves. This weekend this showed. George and chey went out to a dressage competition. George won both his tests, chey 3rd and 5th both competitive classes.
Emily has been taught by Marnie from the very beginning and Charlotte has been with Holts for several years.
Super proud of both the girls and the ponies.
We pride our selves on doing things the right way and it lovely to see the results.
I even stole George for a win in the prelim with 73% slightly different to my usual ride!!!

A slightly delayed post but I would like everyone to meet Sunny. The new kid on the riding school. He has been with us for a couple of weeks and passed all his tests with flying colours. He is sure to be a favourite 😍
