Meet me Monday - The story of little Daisy.

Meet daisy the tiny Shih Tzu rescue who hasn’t really known the outside world. She was rescued from a home with over 30 dogs where she was crate bound and found in poor condition.

She had been confined to one room and a crate from what we know and is roughly 12 - 18 months old. Her new owner (already a Pod client) took her under his wing and she really has landed paws first,

We will have to manage her grooming in a slow and different way to ensure she is conditioned to grooming without being too stressed. But I’m hopeful she will continue to progress leaps and bounds.

We’re back from an amazing week away at the TT races on Isle of Man 🇮🇲🏍️

We spent our trip watching incredible racing, exploring beautiful beaches, and of course doing a little wildlife spotting — because no adventure is complete without animals involved! 🐾

One of our favourite sights of the whole trip had to be this handsome Rottie, Balti, riding along in his very own sidecar and enjoying the full TT experience with his human best friend! 🏍️🐶💨

Safe to say Balti was getting plenty of attention everywhere he went — and honestly, who could resist that face? 😍

Here at the pod we doodle poodles, poodle doodles and everything in between 💕

This is little Floss at the start of her grooming journey, (she featured the other week) and we can’t wait to share her transformation with you so for today here’s a little clean face. ✂️

☀️ 💦 Tilly says “Keep cool by the pool!” 💦☀️

With the hot weather here, please remember to keep your dogs safe in the sun — plenty of fresh water, shade, cool walks, and paddling pools if they love them as much as we do! 🐶🏖️

As much as I would love to help everyone whose dogs are struggling in the heat, I am now FULLY BOOKED for the next few weeks. Please make sure to advance book appointments during the warmer months to avoid disappointment.

A Jake Update. 🚲

Thank you to everyone who was so supportive when Jake hurt himself the other week.

Some fabulous news from the fracture clinic team. Upon review by the orthopaedic specialists the elbow is NOT broken. 🙌🏻

After a week in cast the cast is removed and he is enjoying his half term to the fullest.

Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts. Along with being so accommodating and flexible with your appointments.

Man down!

Unfortunately our Jake had an accident this weekend which has resulted in a nasty break. We’re awaiting further communication from the orthopaedic team.

This may mean that we have last minute change of appointments and need some flexibility should we need to be back and forth at hospital and with Jake’s care, but of course I’ll offer as much notice as I can.

Meet me Monday - Millie.

A stunning English Show Cocker! We had a really in depth conversation about stripping vs clipping and how spaying alters the coat so we have some realistic goals from the start.

She slept through most of her intro session and was a little darling they everyone needed to cuddle! 💕 (swipe right to see snoozing)

Being a dog groomer is so much more than just baths, brushes, and haircuts. It’s building bonds—with both the pets and the people who trust us with them.
Over time, those wagging tails and familiar faces become part of our everyday lives, and they leave paw prints on our hearts in ways words can hardly capture.
But one of the hardest parts of this job is having to say goodbye. 💔

Sometimes it’s because families move away, sometimes life changes, and sometimes it’s the kind of goodbye that hurts the most. We feel it all. We remember their little quirks, the way they’d greet us, the cuddles after their groom, and even the challenges that made us love them more.
To every client and every beloved pet we’ve had the privilege to care for—thank you. Thank you for trusting us, for sharing those moments, and for letting us be part of your journey.
You may no longer walk through our doors, but you’ll always be part of our story. We love you, and we miss you more than you know. 🐾

Featuring the most beautiful of gifts from a client who sadly passed over rainbow bridge after years with me. 💔 🌈 we will miss her dearly and thank her mum both for trusting me and for the gift. ❤️

Another day another “Not Just a dog groom”

See this picture… just a fluffy beard, right?

Hidden within his beard was a bramble branch, twisted in and pressing sharp spikes into his lip and gums.
We carefully removed it, checked thoroughly for any signs of injury, and Otis was sent on his way—much more comfortable!

A reminder that your dog’s groom is about more than just looking good 🐾
