• Test your mutt’s coordination and speed with Elf Equine & Canine’s fun agility course
• Let your pooch follow their nose in Darwin’s Dog Training School’s scent work and mantrailing tasters
• Be inspired by the incredible work of Canine Partners in their assistance dog display
• Take on the challenge of the Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen Dog Scheme test with Victory Dog Training
• Show off your dog’s personality in our Fun Dog Show - all breeds and abilities welcome!
• Hayler Studios will be capturing photos of your pets all day and available to buy after the event
• Visit the kids zone for crafts, activities and face painting!

-———Fun Dog Show-———

Our fun dog show is open to all dog lovers and their furry companions, pre-register now to secure your spot by visiting the event website! Rosettes and prizes awarded for 1st to 3rd place, winners are automatically entered into Best in Show. Dogs of any breed, size, or age are welcome to participate. One entry per dog per category, multiple categories can be entered. £2.00 per entry, or 3 entries for £5.00!

Lass Update - Day 5 Post Op!

P.s we cover her good eye so she can’t see when the hand is coming otherwise both eyes blink

We aren’t getting too excited as we aren’t eye professionals, but we do know some basics

Before Lass went into surgery she had no reaction to a hand coming near her bad eye, and would only blink as and when.

This evening 5 days post op there is definitely some reaction to my hand going near her, and she is seeming more happy within herself, she is delighted to see us in the evenings as she knows she is getting fed the little monkey..!

We have also attached a video of her med chart to show how important following after care is, as without she may not of regained her sight, we are hopeful we will have some good news at her check up at the end of week.

Fingers crossed for now- HRH Romford Retired Greyhounds Paid the bill today for her, which we cannot thank you all again for your support, donations and well wishes.. her surgery came to 5k, we have some extra money left over which is going to be put towards her follow up treatment and visits.

Thank you all again, let’s keep going on this journey together 🥰

Lass update! Day 3!

Lass has been home for 48 hours now, and it's been an interesting time!

Ops are always hard work but this one is a challenging time!

Lots of eye drops in a day at least 6-8 times 2 hours apart which means late evenings! Yes in our PJs

She is definitely calming down after the initial stress, and we are all getting into a routine

She is feeling better and a lot more awake however still a bit drunk on her feet, and getting used to wearing a cone 24/7

She is loving getting fed 3/4 times a day, and getting " Cheese Treats" if you know you know

Lass has a check up next week back at the specialist, to check how everything is going!

Lass Update-

Lass has surgery yesterday and all went well, she woke up nicely and was recovering in her kennel at the vets.

They said it’s all looking positive we now just have to see how the eye copes with recovery, and fingers crossed the vision comes back 🥰

Hoping she will be home today or tomorrow, updates will now be delayed as we all process the change and look after Lass.

Today’s the day for Lass eye surgery- and again we can’t thank you enough for your support!

We dropped her off early this morning, it’s been a long day already and she will be going on later for her procedure, she is expected to stay in their care for a few days so updates will be delayed and slow, when she is back with us obviously are main priority is Lass, so we will update you as and when we can!

Keep her in your thoughts over next couple of days 🩵

Another day… Another Rescue 😮

Getting a call on a Sunday afternoon saying a dog has been found and doesn’t have a registered chip or owner is always so sad, they’ve had her all weekend with no one coming forward so we said we would go and get her today!

It seems the owner that took her dumped her 😞

Please note - we did not home her prior, we have just taken her in!

She is such a cutie and is in safe hands with us, hopefully she will be up for adoption soon! 😍

I don’t think any words can describe how grateful everyone is for the love and support everyone has shown Lass!

In less than 36 hours you’ve managed to absolutely smash the target that we needed for surgery!

We are so pleased to say Surgery is booked next week, and are praying it all goes well.

We will keep you updated on the journey and her progress as and when we can as the main thing is looking after her.

It’s crazy how quickly the community can pull together to help a little girlie out 💙

A huge thank you to .referrals who have given us this chance with Lass, and to all the support we have been given we could have never of done this without you all!

The excess money will be used for her follow up appointments, and anything extra she may need 💕

Lass needs everyone’s help!

Lass is such a sweet girl, who normally loves her walks, cuddles and life she is only 5 years old so has a lot of years hopefully left ahead of her.

However, we recently noticed she was getting very stressed, and her vision didn’t seem 100%, we saw the vet who then referred us to Optivet, who diagnosed her with a detached Retina, and confirmed she is currently fully blind in her left eye.

They have been very generous and offered us a huge discount on the surgery, due to us being a charity, and Lass being a very good candidate for the surgery to hopefully make her see again, the chances are 90% which is so high.

However, this surgery does have a time limit due to the retina dying off if detached for too long, so ideally looking to do the surgery in the next 2-3 weeks max!

Curve ball, this also means we need to raise 5k within this time frame to be able to get her the surgery she drastically needs, she is so stressed at the moment, not knowing what’s going on and why she can’t see 😞

The surgery costs include, surgery with hospitalisation for 48 hours + all the needs and meds whilst under , then post op meds and checkups .

Please help us to try and save Lass’s eye, donating even just £1 gets us one step closer, if you can’t donate please share with everyone to help this little girl out.

We will of course keep everyone updated on her progress, if we can’t make the target by 2 weeks, unfortunately we won’t be able to get the surgery so will go down a pain management route, and the remainder of the money will go to her care, and any other poorly dogs we have

We raised an amazing £446 over both days! ✨

The team had a great day enjoying the sunshine, with lots of helpers!

We loved meeting your dogs too, we made some friends with other stall holders!
