Chilli is on vet recommended gentle exercise whilst on a pain relief trial for possible hip issues and some days Marshall just feels his age more so we had a nice lead walk around the woods with lots of sniffing. Occasionally not having to worry about where they are and what they are doing isn’t so bad

Swimming for Chilli whilst Marshall just wanted treats, no change there then! Chilli had put on weight since I hurt my back in 2023 and we’ve been working really hard to get her slim again and she definitely looks slimmer when she’s wet, a trip to the vets soon for a weigh in

We have a lovely rainy walk in the woods. I think autumn is my favourite season but it feels a bit early this year for some reason

I am reopening Helen’s Hounds in Rainworth and the surrounding villages. I have been a veterinary nurse for over 15 years and have held various jobs in the animal sector including teaching animal care. I will be offering individual and group walks for up to 4 dogs at a time along with pet visits and pop ins for any furry, feathered or scaly pets. Please get in touch.
