Unfortunately due to a serious back injury I am going to have to cancel appointments that are booked in for this week, am really sorry about this but it’s completely out of my hands. I will be contacting everyone tomorrow for rebooking but wanted to give as much notice as I could.

Due to the volume of work and my ‘glass back 🥴’ I have had to make the decision I can only take pre bookings from now on. My diary is full for March, so anyone want to book in for April, please messsge me x

Delighted to announce that from Tuesday 7th January 2025 I will be working from a table in my good friend Caroline Shaw’s grooming salon Love By Kano based at 17 Bury Road, Radcliffe, M26 2GB (2 minutes drive from the Stand Lane shop, I’ve timed it! In rush hour! 🚙⏱️😂) the shop is opposite Close Park. I will be working from home in Whitefield one day a week but this will be for full grooms only 🐕🛁✂️🐩

After 18 years I was keen to continue working within the Radcliffe area and I feel this new venue is a much safer option for my furry clients, my non furry clients and me! I will still be working under my Creature Comforts banner and my fb page will remain live.

The Stand Lane shop will close permanently from Monday 23rd December 2024

It’s a shame but unfortunately I can’t keep the shop on any more 😳 I’ve tried to make dog grooming affordable for everyone but it’s not viable anymore and it’s kicked me in the butt 🙄. The shop will be closing permanently on 24th December. Leonie has a great new premises in Little Lever that she will be working out off. She has been by my side for for the past ten years since she was 15 and I love her dearly, I know all her clients will go that extra couple of miles to visit her. I will be working from home in Whitefield but my prices will be increasing in line with everyone else, probably why am in this situation 🙄 am trying to give everyone as much notice as possible if my new prices won’t suit your budget but I’ve got to make a living as well

I have met these babies and they are absolutely gorgeous 🐶😍❤️

Beautiful Standard Labradoodle F1b puppies.Both parents extensively health checked for over 250 genetic issues and both are all clear.Both parents have excellent hip & elbow scores,proof of both can be provided.Both parents are volunteer therapy dogs, dad working with autistic children, mum visits a variety of different care homes,hospitals and schools. Because mum & dad have such gentle natures all puppies will have an excellent temperament.Mum is 1st generation labradoodle,our beautiful family pet,full of fun,extremely intelligent,loving and obedient.Dad is full pedigree Standard Poodle with a gentle and loving temperament,intelligent and obedient.Puppies have been raised as part of our family with mum and 3 other dogs and can be viewed with mum.They will have soft curly coats and be completely hypoallergenic.Before going to their forever homes puppies will be health checked,wormed,flea treated and microchipped.Puppies will leave with a puppy pack including high quality food,toy and blanket with mother and siblings scent.

We were sadden to hear of the recent closure of Betty & Butch’s Whitefield branch. It’s always disheartening when yet another small independent business has to make the difficult decision to down size.

Many of our grooming customers have expressed their disappointment in the shops departure and its supply of natural treats. Whilst unfortunately we don’t have the resources or the space to fill the gap they have left completely but we are seeking to expand our selection of natural treats. We would love some ideas on what folks would like to see on our shelves, so would really appreciate it if you could comment below on what your pooches favourite snacks are 🐕🦴🍗🍖🥩😋

Cockerpoo Looking for her forever home

Phoebe is a two year old Cockerpoo who
Is looking for her forever home. She is very loving and affectionate but does have dominant tendencies so would be best suited to experienced adult dog owners with no children or other dogs in the home although she is good with dogs whilst out on walks and will happily play with them. She is very high energy, so will need a home where her owner/owners will give her plenty of exercise and will not leave her for long periods of time on her own. She is very intelligent and has great recall when out on walks but will need someone to commit time to progress with her training. Her current owner will be willing to discuss in detail the reason she has come up for adoption.

She is fully up to date with her vaccinations, flea and working programme.
