Price Increase from 1st March 2026

I’ve tried to keep them down but everything just keeps going up and up and up!! 😳 From the 1st March full grooms and bath/tidy will be increased by £2 per groom. This is my first increase in 18 months but with everything going up so much, this is an unavoidable decision I have had to make 😢

Sadly Love By Kano has now permanently closed its doors. All future grooming appointments from Monday 10th November will be at my premises in Whitefield. I will be contacting every one who is already booked in before their appointment to discuss further details 🐕🛁✂️🐩👍🏼

After 19 years of working Saturday’s and cracking on nearly 60 am giving them up 😆😆 from September I won’t be working Saturday’s anymore but will accommodate a few evening appointments. My son is heading down south, my family are down there too so that’s where a lot of my Saturdays will be 🥰 am sure you will all understand. I will try to accommodate everyone as much as I can with other working hours 👌🏼

Unfortunately due to a serious back injury I am going to have to cancel appointments that are booked in for this week, am really sorry about this but it’s completely out of my hands. I will be contacting everyone tomorrow for rebooking but wanted to give as much notice as I could.

Due to the volume of work and my ‘glass back 🥴’ I have had to make the decision I can only take pre bookings from now on. My diary is full for March, so anyone want to book in for April, please messsge me x

Delighted to announce that from Tuesday 7th January 2025 I will be working from a table in my good friend Caroline Shaw’s grooming salon Love By Kano based at 17 Bury Road, Radcliffe, M26 2GB (2 minutes drive from the Stand Lane shop, I’ve timed it! In rush hour! 🚙⏱️😂) the shop is opposite Close Park. I will be working from home in Whitefield one day a week but this will be for full grooms only 🐕🛁✂️🐩

After 18 years I was keen to continue working within the Radcliffe area and I feel this new venue is a much safer option for my furry clients, my non furry clients and me! I will still be working under my Creature Comforts banner and my fb page will remain live.

The Stand Lane shop will close permanently from Monday 23rd December 2024

It’s a shame but unfortunately I can’t keep the shop on any more 😳 I’ve tried to make dog grooming affordable for everyone but it’s not viable anymore and it’s kicked me in the butt 🙄. The shop will be closing permanently on 24th December. Leonie has a great new premises in Little Lever that she will be working out off. She has been by my side for for the past ten years since she was 15 and I love her dearly, I know all her clients will go that extra couple of miles to visit her. I will be working from home in Whitefield but my prices will be increasing in line with everyone else, probably why am in this situation 🙄 am trying to give everyone as much notice as possible if my new prices won’t suit your budget but I’ve got to make a living as well
