Still no home found for Paddy.

Would any of our lovely cattery customers be able to foster him for 2- 3 months, his owner is desperately trying to find him a home, or may even be able to take him abroad with him at a later date.
He would be willing to pay for all food and vets bills if someone could foster him..

He’s such a lovely boy x

Would any of my Facebook friends be able to help Paddy.his owner died last November and her friend had been looking after him, he has now had a job offer abroad and cannot take Paddy with him.

Paddy is approx 7 years old, he’s a lovely cat and it’s a really sad story.

Paddy is a lovely boy - he is in need of a home either temporarily or permanently.

He has been through a lot in the last 6 months.

He is a Black, short haired male cat (neutered) about 6-7 years old. He was adopted about 3 years ago. Unfortunately his Mum and a close friend died in November 2024 and I have been taking care of him. I intended to keep him but a job offer will take me to Guernsey for at least a year perhaps two years.

I feel it will be a lot of disruption for Paddy to be transported and moved again to Guernsey and I also do not know where my accommodation will be or if they will allow a cat.

Paddy was semi feral but was caught, neutered and released. I believe he lived near a factory and so he is Ok with men and partial to a ham sandwich. He also has a fascination for vans! He has a very distinctive clipped ear. Being a boy he likes his food. Oddly, He also enjoys some company on his little walks in the area.

He is happy indoors and outside (especially as the weather improves). Permanently indoors is probably not for him.

Paddy is chipped and fully vaccinated and in good health.

He’s a friendly boy and will easily come for some fuss and a stroke (on his terms) to relative strangers especially if they have a treat..So far he is not a pick up and cuddle cat but likes company. He did live with another cat and although there were no squabbles they tolerated each other rather than be best of pals. Probably better as an only cat or maybe an older chilled out cat. I have no experience of him with dogs or children. I think on the whole he likes peace and quiet rather than a frantic household.

He’s shown no evidence of being a hunter in the last three years and so no dead birds or rodents.

I’ve attached photos but would ideally like someone to foster him short term / medium term and I could provide some support for food etc. I’d like to be able to check he’s ok from time to time. This is quite important.

If he’s happy I would like him to be adopted but when my working I could take him back if needed.
