How's this for a transformation😱😱

This little lad was rescued 6 months ago and it took mum weeks to be able to touch him. After trying her best in the mean time, he had settled enough to attempt a professional groom.

Poor Mr D was in a bit of a state and very nervous. Care, patience, the right products and some elbow grease and this is the result😱 there WAS a Poodle under that hair after all😆🐩

Washed in Clipit Curls shampoo with plenty of Julie Harris coat management spray and all but the most solid of knots melted away. With his next groom booked in and mum on top of maintenance at home, his coat will grow in and he can keep looking this smart😍

Already looking forward to his next appointment and being able to keep tweaking his styling as well as plenty of cuddles😊

Doodle coats can quickly become knotty and matted if they don't get brushed and combed frequently enough😱🙈.

This handsome boy comes in every 4 weeks, alternating a full groom and a bath and brush out🛁, to keep on top of his coat care. This means his mum gets the longer hair style she likes and has to do minimal maintenance too! Best of both worlds😉

The Colonel came in for a hand strip and scissor tidy on his legs and beard.

Hand stripping helps to maintain the colour and texture in wirey or silky coats. Dead hair is removed from the follicle by hand🖐, leaving room for fresh, healthy new growth. When performed correctly it should be pain-free (Some dogs even fall asleep😴). This boy is a pet and finds having his legs and chest stripped uncomfortable, so they are lightly thinned with scissors instead✂️.

A day of friends, new and old💕

This handsome boy has been coming to the parlour since he was a puppy😘 When dogs have a slow, early introduction to grooming it eliminates stress and becomes a fun experience instead😊

He has a lovely coat and it would be a shame to clip it. Instead he has a nail trim, ear clean and a scissor tidy. Washed in Clipit Detox shampoo for a deep clean and spectacular shine🛁🌟

🐕Styling - everything from short all over to breed specific trims and scissor work.
🐾Hand stripping - for both wire coated and silky dogs like spaniels.
🐩Nail trimming - for in between grooms or as needed. Long nails can cause discomfort and strain on the joints, especially for older dogs.
🐶De-shedding - for those double coated and short coated dogs. The amount of hair that can come out of a Labrador is AMAZING😲
🐕Puppy introductions - a positive early experience can set your puppy up for successful, stress-free grooming for life.
🐩Ultra sonic teeth cleaning - helping to maintain your dogs teeth to improve their overall health and extend their life

I can finally announce that Tansy's Dog Grooming will be opening on Monday 2nd September!

I will be offering grooming services from bathing to full grooms. Nail trims, ultra sonic tooth cleaning and hand stripping.

Based at Brinsbury college, Pulborough in a professional, fully-equipped parlour.
Your dogs will be groomed by myself, a fully level 3 qualified and first aid trained groomer. I am insured and CRB checked, with 5 years grooming experience.
