We are still open for appointments/ business

Moor road resurfacing - starts tomorrow.

Between the junction with Humbles wood / Ferndene and the junction with Durham riding.

Access will remain open to homes and businesses.

But we ask that the number of journeys are restricted as far as practicable.

This area is popular with walkers who are asked to help the Highways team by not ‘driving’ through the road closure, and possibly finding an alternative route for the days impacted.

Or walk past the roadworks,

Team members will be present to assist.

If you need access, be aware that there may be a delay whilst heavy machinery and the workforce move out of your way.
