Let’s talk about matting!
Our grooming salon values the safety and well-being of your furry friend above all else. Unfortunately, when dogs come to us with severely matted fur, the best course of action is often a shave-down. This is because attempting to brush or demat severely tangled fur can cause significant discomfort and pain to the dog, and in some cases may even result in
injury. Therefore, if your dog comes in with severely matted fur, we recommend a shave-down for comfort and safety. Our groomer will take great care to ensure that your dog is as comfortable as possible throughout the process, and will work with you to determine the best length and style for your pet's new haircut. We understand that a shave-down may not be your preferred grooming option, but please know that it is always done in your pet's best interests. We encourage you to maintain your dogs grooming needs on a regular basis to avoid matting and potential discomfort in the future.
