Knowing Marley on a personal level, and being able to give her some comfort in her last few years with special grooms in her bed, was the very least I could do for such an incredible girl.

An absolute pleasure to welcome Hector for his first groom at Barkletts today 💙
This handsome boy was a little nervous to begin with, but soon realised with plenty of cuddles that it really wasn’t that bad and we had lots of waggy tails! 🥰
Hector was very well behaved throughout, and we even found some treats that he liked after going through the whole selection! 😋

The most beautiful, gentle girl Bella back in with me for her groom.
This was only Bella’s 3rd visit, and the transformation that I have seen in this girls confidence melts my heart 🥰

A Cypriot rescue, who had the worst start in life, has landed on her feet with the most loving home that she has now, her owner has worked wonders with this gorgeous girl 💕
From coming in my door with a wagging tail, admittedly nervous when she first got on the table, but relaxing once in the bath, to falling asleep during her groom (yes another one thinks I’m boring! 🥱 )
You can see from these pictures alone from her posture and body language after her groom, that this girl is learning to trust once again.

Super fluffy, cuddly, gorgeous boy Tommy was back with me today 💙
On only his 3rd visit to me, we are definitely making progress!
From the first time I had Tommy on my table, to today, he is definitely learning to trust me, and his behaviour is improving. He is still a challenging groom but I like the challenge of teaching him that I’m not going to hurt him, and being a good boy is rewarding! 😊

A well needed groom after recovery from an operation, he’s now feeling a lot lighter, and he got his badge for the “wake me up when you’ve finished” club today too! 😴😂
