Penwortham Cricket Club is proud to unveil the Vision Project - a transformative redevelopment plan that will shape the future of our facilities at Middleforth Green, our historic home since 1892.

This bold, two-phase project will deliver state-of-the-art, sustainable facilities designed to benefit our club and the wider community for generations to come.

🔹 Phase 1 – Construction of a Net Zero Modular Community Building
A modern, glass-fronted hub with solar panels, pitch-side views, and fully accessible amenities. This facility will be a beacon of sustainability and inclusion — built to the highest environmental standards.

🔹 Phase 2 – Redevelopment of our existing Clubhouse and Function Room
A fresh, modern upgrade to enhance community use, events, and cricketing activity.

Our vision is simple: create cutting-edge, sustainable facilities that ensure a resilient financial future for Penwortham Cricket Club while offering a welcoming, inclusive space for all in the local area.

We’re now at the planning stage — and we need your support to bring Phase 1 to life.

🩷 Beautiful Bella 🩷

We walk Bella and her sister Willow most days of the week.

Bella gives the most adorable ‘greet and retreat’ when we unlock the door. A huge welcome, but then quickly goes into the lounge and rolls over for a snuggle and belly rub 🩷

She’s an enthusiastic walker, and takes delight in her surroundings. We have a lot to learn from Bella 🩷

❤️ Recommendation ❤️

I’ve noticed since it’s been cooler that I’ve been getting a tightness at the top of my back and shoulder blades after walking. Some of my pooches love to give me an upper body work out on the lead, as well as making sure I get the steps in! 😂

I spotted this today and have just given it a go….it is HEAVEN 🥰

I thought it would be mean to gate-keep….so stick one on your gift list and thank me later 🎁 🙂

Our walks with Willie are sponsored by .uk (he wishes! 😂)

Willie was initially reluctant to come out for walks. It’s not his favourite thing to do at the best of times! So at the suggestion of the owner, we used his favourite treat to encourage getting the steps in, and also for distraction therapy when passing other dogs.

He’s started to love his walks so, of his own volition, he has now decided that the cheese comes as a treat at the end of the walk. We enjoy this time together before settling him at home for the rest of the day.

What a character! 💙💙

As our thoughts turn toward Remembrance Sunday, we want to commemorate not only the brave and courageous men and women who served in the armed forces, but also the animals, whose service during times of military conflict was invaluable.

💙 Dec 💙

Dec and I go for a good strut twice a week and today paid visit to where we were given a free cheese tasting platter, I was kindly made a flat white and I bought him some tasty festive turkey dog treats.

Of course I ended up buying some of the cheese…how could I resist!

Dec is a pleasure to walk, he walks to heel at a good steady pace and is always so pleased to see me.

🩷 Lulu and Beau 🩷

Mother and daughter, they are regular customers with a 1 hour route covering Hutton and the outskirts of Longton.

Lulu is calm, steady and patient. (1st photo)
Beau is inquisitive, energetic and loving. (2nd photo)

They’ve recently had a new addition at home (the fluffiest GSD pup!) but for now are enjoying their mummy/daughter time out 💕
