Henry was referred to us with pain in his lumbar spine and hips, alongside recovery from a partial cruciate tear in his right hind limb.

Using the underwater treadmill allowed us to support his rehabilitation in a controlled, low-impact environment while encouraging consistent movement and weight bearing through the hind limbs.

This footage was taken during Henry’s final rehabilitation session following 5 underwater treadmill sessions.

We share real rehabilitation journeys, educational content, and behind-the-scenes insights every week.

Pool or treadmill — what’s best for your dog? 🐾

Although both are forms of canine hydrotherapy, the pool and underwater treadmill are used very differently depending on the dog, their condition, and their rehabilitation goals.

In this video, we explain some of the key differences between them, and why tailored rehabilitation is so important. 💦

We share educational canine rehabilitation content, real recovery journeys, and behind-the-scenes insights every week.

We had a filming day last week creating some content for our website and social media 🎥

Here's a little behind the scenes, it's safe to say not everything went perfectly 😂 🐾

Big thanks to AV Visual, can't wait to see the finished product.

Willow came to us after IVDD surgery, unable to walk on her back legs.

Just 3 weeks into rehab, she’s already back on her feet and making incredible progress. 🐾

This is exactly why early rehabilitation is so important.

Most people think hydrotherapy is just swimming…

But it’s actually a lot more than that.

Every session is tailored to the individual dog, depending on what they need and how they move.

This is Archie.

He’s been coming to us for just over a year now, and in that time, he’s lost over 12kg.

When he first came to us, he was struggling with his weight and getting some intermittent lameness in his front legs.

Since then, he’s made great progress and is doing very well.
