Hey everyone.. bit of a crap post sorry!
In July i decided to do something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time and work with dogs! In October i took the biggest risk and handed my notice in at work and went full time! While I’ve had success.. I’ve also had the struggles of the cost of living crisis 😖
Ive had my amazing partner who has supported us as a family while I’ve been building everything and he’s worked so hard to make sure i can go out and make my dreams happen ❤️
From March i will be going back into working full time mon-fri.
While it hasn’t failed and i have got some AMAZING customers and even made some friends in some lovely owners, unfortunately i do have a family to think about and a mortgage to pay! As you can probably all appreciate.
Pawfect By Katy isn’t closing completely though.. i will still be offering weekends and evenings for now! I will also still post on social media 🥰
I’ve been given an amazing opportunity, so it really is a bittersweet situation as I’m so sad to say goodbye to some of my furry friends but also so excited to start my new journey with another company!
Im still here walking for another month so its not goodbye just yet!
My last walking day will be Friday 10th March, all my regular clients are now aware and I’ve obviously given some recommendations of other amazing local dog walkers! Don’t forget about me all together because i still offer weekends and cat sitting.
Its been so hard to write this and I’m so upset to have to let everyone down! Ive had all sorts of feelings going through my head these last few weeks.. feeling like I’m a failure… feeling like Penelope will be disappointed in me and to be honest a bit embarrassed as well 😞 i have put my heart and soul into this business and it really is something I’m so passionate about! Its just one of those things unfortunately and i guess i cant control what’s happening with this bloody cost of living sh*te at the moment! I know its hit everyone in different ways!
Thank you for all your support and believing in me and trusting me with your animals 😘😘😘
Keep supporting small / local businesses , they need you most when times are like this!
Katy 🤎
