All dogs are catered for, from toy to giant breeds. Whilst purebreds have a recognized style, and crossbreed styles are still evolving, we at Utterly Mutts understand that you know what is best for your dog. Therefore we encourage you to discuss both style and approach with Karen. We are also happy to work with you on maintaining your dog’s coat between grooms, offering help and advice on grooming

related matters. Utterly Mutts use the best quality grooming products to suit your dog, but we are happy to use veterinary prescribed shampoo if required (just bring it along to your appointment). Our fully equipped grooming studio includes the latest design of Hydrobath, which has recognised therapeutic benefits and all dogs are dried by hand. The studio is organised so that dogs will feel safe, relaxed and able to express their natural behaviour. All equipment is maintained to the highest hygiene and safety standards. Our studio and garden are fully secure, so whether your dog is in the bath, on the table or having a well-earned comfort break you can be sure they are safe in our hands.

Well I’m done and my final groom is finished. As I said before I’ve loved every minute and every dog - what a privilege to have had a job doing something I love.
Before I go I wanted to say a few more ‘thank yous’. To Mum who encouraged my love of animals from an early age. To Graham for his love, support and encouragement - he started the Utterly Mutts journey with dog walking and dog care services and together we built UM. To Denise, Philippa, Lorraine and Jackie for their inspiration, help and advice. To KD Grooming Studio for teaching me and guiding me through the qualifications. To Kathryn for her assistance with all things graphic design, including website development. To Rosie and Dilys the inspiration behind our logo and for being guinea pigs - albeit reluctant ones. Thanks to all our friends and family who have supported us throughout and finally it would not have happened without our lovely clients with their lovely dogs - thank you, thank you, thank you 😘
