🎉 Opening Early 2025 🎉

After months of careful planning and hard work, renovations are now well underway, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store. Here’s what you can look forward to:

✅ More Space, Better Experience

- Our current shop: 800 sq ft
- Our new shop at 6 Park Lane: 1,400 sq ft – nearly double the size❗️

✅ Upgraded Facilities

- Improved Accessibility: A larger entrance door with a canopy for convenience.
- Better Shopping Experience: Baskets, Wheeled trolley baskets and spacious walkways.
- Dedicated Fitting Area: Secure space for trying on coats, fleeces, jumpers, harnesses and collars.
- Expanded Product Range: More freezers to support our growing selection of raw foods.
- Convenient Parking: A large car park at the side and rear of the building.

✅ New Services

Introducing Our In-House Dog Grooming Salon! ✂️🐶

This has been the most requested addition, and we’re thrilled to make it happen.

The salon will be spacious enough to accommodate multiple dog groomers, including two amazing professionals:
- Emma : Poynton Pooches - Professional Grooming
- Gemma : K925 Dog Grooming

Both are highly experienced and bring a professional, friendly approach to each and every customer.

The shop grand opening will be early in 2025 and the salon will open its doors from 1st April! 🥳🥳

‼️🚨 Exciting News from Poynton Pet Shop! 🚨‼️

We are thrilled to announce that The Poynton Pet Shop is moving to bigger and better premises at No. 6 Park Lane (the old Yoga Studio)! 🎉🥳

For nearly two years, we've been quietly working behind the scenes to bring this dream to life, and the day has finally come. We’ve officially completed the lease, picked up the keys, and are ready to begin the exciting transformation of our new shop.

As we enter our 14th year in business, we can’t express enough how much the love and support from the Poynton community has meant to us. Each one of you, whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or joined along the way, has played an important role in our journey.


⭐️ A Look Back:

In 2011, we opened our doors for the first time, not knowing just how much we would grow. By 2014, we realised we needed more space and moved into where we are now. Fast forward to today, and we’re moving into our biggest shop yet, thanks to all your support!


⭐️ What’s Coming:

At our new shop, you’ll find:
✅ More space - for a wider variety of products for your pets.
✅ Improved facilities - to enhance your shopping experience.
✅ New services - to ensure your pets get the best care possible.

Thank you to everyone for their kind messages and support.

Tony’s funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 15th May at 10:00am.

Informal drinks around 11:00am at the Acoustic Lounge, Poynton.

All are welcome.

We are extremely sad to announce the death of Anthony ‘Tony’ Butler on Saturday 27th April.

He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.

I’m sure many of you will remember him as the founder of The Poynton Pet Shop, as well as many other businesses along Park Lane over the last 25+ years.

Details of his funeral will be shared in the coming weeks.
