The RSPCA Blackpool and North Lancashire is a Branch of the RSPCA and therefore is an independent charity. In order to help animals in our area money has to be raised locally by staff and volunteers through fund raising, donations and legacies. We do not receive any government funding.

Saturday was a very special day for this fella
💙 BRUCE 💙

We all love a happy ending and after a long journey to get here. Bruce has finally been adopted. He went to his forever home yesterday.

Bruce was lucky enough to go into a foster home while he was with us due to a lengthy welfare investigation that has finally been resolved as he struggled with kennel life whilst we waited for an outcome of his future🏡

We would like to thank his new parents for adopting him but a huge heartfelt thankyou's go out to his foster parents Erik and Aliyah who looked after Bruce so well! And for once again taking in a rescue dog into your home and getting Bruce ready for this next chapter and new adventure.

Today we're celebrating Happy 2026 🐾 🐈 💕 🌎

All of these individuals are still waiting for forever homes. Some have been in rescue longer than others. We really do have some wonderful moggies in at the moment, all a pleasure to care for until they find families 🏡

We love the annual fundraising project that St Aidan's CofE High School sets for their students every summer.

This week we met Libby and Leah, who raised £17.50 by selling rice crispy treats, and Tom and Jay, who raised £46.55 with their friend Henry by selling snacks, all to help the animals of Longview.

A huge thank you to all of them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
