Welcome to Charlie Mill Riding School and Livery Yard’s official page.

We are a fully licenced riding school and livery yard and provide lessons and education about horses to all abilities and ages. We also offer Therapeutic Sessions, horses and ponies have an extraordinary way of calming and bringing out the best in everyone. We have a wide variety of ponies including cobs, mountain and moorland, new forest, Shetland and Welsh. Everyone is welcome to add pictures, v

ideos and comments about their favourite horses or ponies, events such as the ‘Sunday Fun Day’ and other events or activities will be posted on here so everyone knows what’s going on. Please add all your friends and other riders at the Mill

Inspection day is always an anxious one but all of the hard work has paid off because Charliemill has been awarded a 5 star license- you can’t get better than that!

Yesterday we sadly said goodbye to Raffles (30 years old). Raffles was definitely a character, he loved a cheeky sprint down the track whilst being led or a little gallop off when ridden. Raffles was retired 15 years ago due to a back injury so has spent half of his life as Twizzles partner in crime and companion. He had an amazing life at Charliemill and will be missed, always. 🐎🌈xx
