It’s time for another BSAVA manual order! If you’ve ever been frustrated when you’re doing a particular strand and all the manuals are gone from the library, or you’re about to do rotations which you would like your own manual for, then now is your chance to get them with a 10% discount.

I have attached the list of publications and prices, and also a little bit more information on a new manual on surgical principles. There is also a new edition of neurology which comes with a great DVD with examples of neurological examinations. For students on rotations and EMS, don’t forget the pocket book which contains commonly used info you’ll be using on a day to day basis, sold at an extremely reasonable price.

So, if you want to order a manual, then here’s what you need to do…

1. 1. Choose the manual(s) you want from the order form, attached
2. 2. Print off and fill in the order form
3. 3. Write a cheque payable to the BSAVA
4. 4. Write your name and order on the back of the cheque
5. 5. Put the cheque and order form in the ‘B’ pigeon hole in Hawkshead house, in an envelope clearly labelled with ‘BSAVA student representative’

All manuals will be delivered to college unless you specifically put a different address. Please remember that you must be a member of the BSAVA to order through us and receive the 10% discount.

The deadline for orders is Tuesday the 12th of February, 5pm. If your order is not in the B pigeon hole by 5pm, then it will not be processed. I will then be emailing everyone who has ordered manuals confirming details by the end of the next day (Wednesday 13th). If you have not heard from me and you have made an order, then please email me so we can sort out the problem.

Good afternoon 4th years, I hope you're finding PMVPH absolutely thrilling;) Just a note to remind you that your fabulous reps will be in the NLT TOMORROW to hand out FREE BSAVA FORMULARIES after the lecture. Even if you're not a member, we will have membership forms for you to fill in so you wont miss out. Please bear with us, as getting them all to each of you may take a while, angry mobs of formulary hungry students will be served last:)
