🐾🤍 Maternity Leave Update 🤍🐾

I’m now officially on maternity leave!

It’s a bitter sweet moment to step away from my business for a short while. It’s all I know and love but I appreciate being able to have this flexibility and will be so excited to return and see you all again (human and fluffy)!

Over the next few months, I’ll share updates here and via email, and all being well with both me & baby I’m planning to return in September with limited availability to start - please book asap. Our diary is open until end of 2026. (Existing clients only)

As you all know while I’m away, our lovely Joanna will be taking care of all the grooming and looking after your lovely dogs. They’re in the best hands!
Please note that Joanna is fully booked until September - just message to be added to the cancellation list. This being said, if you cannot make your appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can offer it to another dog who needs it🤍

I’ll still have access to our phone & socials, but replies will be slower than usual.

Thank you all so much for the kind wishes, cards, and thoughtful gifts - it truly means the world to me to have such a friendly, loyal client base.

I’m going to miss all your friendly faces (and of course all the dogs!) so much, but I’ll be back before you know it 🤍🐾

🤍UPDATE PLEASE READ🤍

I am excited to announce that I am expecting a baby in May 2026!👶🏻

I will be taking some time off (don’t worry I won’t be able to stay away for too long😂). I aim to work up until the end of April and return in September but as expected these things don’t always go to plan but as long as we are both fit and healthy this is what I aim for. I will of course keep you all updated along the way.

While I am on maternity leave, our lovely Joanna who most of you already know will be taking over from me managing the salon and keeping your dogs looking beautiful. She is amazing at her job and is so caring so rest assured your dogs are in safe hands.

Due to me being on mat leave appointments will become even more limited so please either book a few appointments in advance or your next appointment at least to ensure you get in. Those already booked in for the year with me have automatically been allocated to Joanna.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, flexibility & continued support I am forever so grateful for each and every one of you. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

A huge congratulations to Joanna who is now a fully qualified dog groomer. She has worked so hard here at Potters Paws for the last 3 years completing all her training in house. From starting as a Saturday girl, to working full time as an apprentice to now becoming fully qualified she’s smashed it! Her skills are amazing and only get better and better!
