We are looking for an Insectnician (yes, I made that word up) to join us at Advanced Husbandry Ltd.
The position is full time 5 days a week, 9 am till 6pm. Jobs roles would include preparing live cultures for varies species, packing orders and general retail / factory duties. You must love insects, not fear creepy crawlies – as someone must get rid of the spiders! All the usual apply, be good working in a team, alone, and even with your imaginary friend if it gets the work done. All necessary training will be provided, all we ask for is a keen interest.
Pay rates will depend on experience and abilities. This can be negotiated during interview.
We are based in Horndean, Hampshire. PO8 0BT.

Don't for got the 2 bank holidays 7th and 10th April. Tracked 24 is the best option for delivery; orders placed on Thursday can be sent out of possible delivery on Saturday and Sunday.

Royal Mail strikes have been suspended until Saturday 12th. No need to panic, we also have APC next day delivery set up working alongside our Royal Mail orders.

The CWU have 19 strike days planned for the Royal Mail during November. This will cause issues for both business owners and customer, especially those replying on Live Food deliveries for their pets. Although we have had no official confirmation about this, we have to assume that it is happening and adapt.

We have now opened an account with APC Overnight couriers to ensure that we are still able to provide the great, fast and reliable service our customers depend on. Ensure that your pets still get their feed.

There will be a few changes to how we will have to operate. The first of which is our posting out days, which will be Monday to Thursday (for delivery Tue to Fri) as the cost of overnight delivery on a Saturday is just too expensive. If we can use the Royal Mail between strikes, we will try for weekend deliveries.

Other changes will be posted here once we have worked out the best way.
