After 2 weeks off and 4 weeks devoted to raising her beautiful litter, Stiora enjoyed her first little training session back today.

We kept things simple, revisiting some basic steadiness and directional work. It’s amazing how quickly these clever dogs switch back into work mode!

Motherhood first, training second… but it’s great to see Stiora enjoying being back at what she loves. ❤️🐾

✅One of the most important skills any dog should learn is patience when exiting a vehicle.

Whether it’s a boot, crate, van or car door, dogs should never rush out the moment it’s opened. Teaching them to wait until released helps prevent accidents, keeps them safe around roads and other dogs, and builds better self-control.

✅A calm dog that waits for permission is a pleasure to live and work with.
