Hello, my name is Lisa and i am the proud owner of 'Gentle touch' dog grooming. In the comfort of my home your best friend will be treated with kindness, care and respect. All visitors to my table will be able to move around , sit, lay and even sleep if he/she so chooses as i use no restraints , just gentle handling and treats allowing your best friend to display natural dog behaviours whilst in my care.

This is a tribute to a beautiful soul. With a heavy heart I share with you all (with permission) the passing of Shambles. Yesterday a darling Dot, Bonnie came for her second puppy groom and did so well and settled so quickly . I love my job and love all my Gentle Touch family members.

The Gentle Touch Story

Hello, my name is Lisa and i am the proud owner of 'Gentle touch' dog grooming. I am fully trained at City & Guilds level 2 & 3. My passion is dogs and giving them the best experience of grooming possible

I have 2 dogs, George my rescue Golden Cocker Spaniel and Willow my gorgeous Shih Poo. I wanted to know that my fur babies were ALWAYS treated the way i treat them, with love, respect, gentleness and kindness in equal measure and in order to ensure this i decided to train as a dog groomer. After much research i found the Canine Studies College in Polegate and their ethos was respect and zero tolerance of anything unkind.

In my modern purpose built salon your fur baby will be welcomed and treated as my own to build on trust and confidence along with comfort, kindness, care and respect.

Adhering to the five freedoms, fresh water and toilet breaks are encouraged. I do not cage or restrain any dog in my care allowing he/she to exhibit normal dog behaviours such as sitting or laying and i work purely on a 1:1 basis.
