🙋🏻‍♀️ Repeat after me… ‘I will check and clean my shower traps on a regular basis’ … or check my cleaner is doing it 😂

This lovely new client has had a cleaner on a weekly basis for around a year, but decided to try someone else as she just wasn’t loving the results.
Like many people, she didn’t know shower traps came apart and needed cleaning, so she hadn’t thought to check beyond the plug. She trusted that her cleaner had the necessities covered. However, she had wondered what the lingering smell in the bathroom was.

I can’t stress enough how important it is make sure your cleaner is professionally trained
(and I don’t mean from watching TikTok videos 🤦🏻‍♀️😳)

This is not ok, It’s not hygienic and it’s not healthy.
If you’re going to take on the responsibility of the cleanliness of someone’s home, you HAVE to go beyond wiping and hoover lines.
I see so many people using all sorts of products, in places they really shouldn’t be used.
Mixing cocktails of chemicals that are literally corroding surfaces. Enamel especially!
Do your courses, get your certificates… and of course, get your insurance 👍🏽

🚿 Shower traps… the ultimate grime hoarders!

These should be thoroughly cleaned as part of your weekly/fortnightly basic bathroom clean

They actually harbour more bacteria than the average toilet 🦠 and when the water builds up around your feet, it’s flooded with that bacteria! 🤢
